Anderson's Prime came after a normal physical Prime. He was 30 before he even got to the UFC. He was losing to LWs in PRIDE but comes along and is much bigger and is KOing people like crazy. Prime isn't just physical. A 27 year old Anderson loses to a slower 35 year old Anderson because he is smarter and more experienced.
So tell me when EXACTLY was Anderson Prime? Chris wasn't getting lured into counters and that is why Anderson lost decisively to him twice. Chris had the tools and style to beat Anderson. It wasn't even close.

Not a hater per say. Not a fan since the Leites fight. I was there live and Anderson playing games rather than fighting was horrible. My buddy literally fell asleep in the middle of that fight.

Anderson can be unfazed by H-bombs when that is all he has to avoid he can roll with it. I don't recall him eating one flush but its been a long time. Who is pillow fisted? Chris hits hard he just isn't fast. He KTFO Mark Munoz and Anderson.

You're right its not just age, its also fight/training mileage in terms of physical prime. There is a ven diagram between physical prime and skill/IQ prime in a general sense.

I think its not the Chin its the threat of the TD. Hendo vs Chael in a straight up power punch contest on the UFC PI machine would go to Hendo. Anderson only had to worry about the H Bomb and could roll with it. Against Sonnen he had to be less elusive and more ready to combat a TD attempt. That makes it more effective. Was it age that made silva slower to react and less able to evade or roll with punches or was Sonnen's style what made him more succeptible? Chris wasn't some KO artist either but he also dropped Silva and they are both excellent offensive wrestlers with good top control. Its not age that made Anderson lose to The Chris it was style. Chris was built to beat Anderson and had his number
