Ancient megalithic ruins from around the world

These are really interesting

Kofun - Wikipedia
are megalithic tombs or tumuli in Northeast Asia. Kofun were mainly constructed in the Japanese archipelago between the middle of the 3rd century to the early 7th century CE

The big thing people overlook ancient structures is viewing them with a modern mindset. We had a billion distractions these days and work 5 days a week. In ancient times, your only goal was survival and honoring your Gods.

With Egyptians, you HAD to build tombs or you didn't get to go to the afterlife. That meant you could have 1000s of people working 24 hours a day for years on projects. You don't get that now and it's hard to imagine that kind of world.

I see nothing in the ancient world where humans couldn't have done it with the proper motivation. I do think there is probably some lost technology/science and engineering but nothing magical or alien.

All these recent cultures also had an economy and were trading.

There's too much evidence that disproves they built these megalithic structures. No one back then was building monster statues and lifting blocks we can barely lift today.

The uniform cut marks can't be done with hand tools.

The megalithic "tombs" were discovered and repurposed.

Making a tomb like this wouldn't be hard

5000-year-old tombs found in Egypt are before times of the pharaohs (usatoday.com)

Notice how the lost golden city is all mudbrick?

Over time the Egyptians developed better techniques/tools, just like the Greeks and Romans.

Not trying to say they didn't build anything but some things they clearly didn't, just like the megaliths in Greece.

lol no one did that. Your mind is too warped by social justice.

Iroquois' destruction of Huronia (cbc.ca)
"In a word, this people has been wiped off the face of the Earth."

Jesuit Missions amongst the Huron - Wikipedia

War with the Iroquois

However, the ability to kill more efficiently may not have been the foremost reason why the Iroquois wiped out the Huron. For reasons unclear, the Iroquois shifted their military focus from capturing prisoners to destroying the entire Huron people.

Warfare In Pre-Columbian North America - Canada.ca

Not all captives were tortured and put to death. Women and young boys were generally spared and given to bereaved families to replace the deceased. When a prisoner was adopted in this manner, he or she took on the name, character, role and responsibilities of the person he or she was replacing

Olive Oatman - Wikipedia

Though she identified them as Apache, they were most likely Tolkepayas (Western Yavapai). They clubbed many to death, left her brother Lorenzo for dead, and enslaved Olive and her younger sister, Mary Ann. The two were captive for one year and then traded to the Mohave people. While Lorenzo exhaustively attempted to recruit governmental help in searching for them, Mary Ann died from starvation and Olive spent four years with the Mohave.

Olive later spoke with fondness of the Mohaves, who she said treated her better than her first captors. She most likely considered herself assimilated.
What are you saying, that genocide is ok and to criticize it is having a social justice mindset ?

How do you get that from my post? Today we understand that genocide is wrong and the world pretty much doesn't do it anymore.

Point was that no one just let their conquered people decide.

You gonna get assimilated.

Edit: I shouldn't say no one because that's not true globally.

You could make an argument about how Muslim conquerors let their conquered people keep practicing their religion only if they paid the Jizya tax but there were times when it was convert or die.

The early Mongols too but not sure if they let them decide. It was either submit/pay up or die. In some cases they ended up adopting the culture of the people they conquered.
