Old photo of Konark

That's a lot of earth piled up

Wouldn't be surprised if Timur or the Mughals tried to bury it. Search for Konark Temple sculptures to see why.

I think people give these old structures too much credit sometimes, something like this is a testament that amazing things can be done if humans really want to

If civilization collapses, that thing won’t last 100 years.

No one will be digging it up 3000 years from now. Aside from a few bits of foundation and maybe some scrap there will be almost nothing remaining.

Yeah it’s cool, but no.

That was made with advanced technology. There's no way people with primitive tools and technology were carving basalt or lifting stone blocks we can barely lift today.

<DisgustingHHH>Not as cool as the big black pillar that never rusts. Let me know when they can make one of those.

More undeniable proof of a globally connected ancient civilization:

More evidence of high heat damage. I don't think there was a nuclear war but a cataclysmic electrical event caused by the sun that melted parts of these megalithic sites.

Looks like some parts of this temple melted:

More evidence the ancient advanced civilization was connected globally
