An Executive Order that'll make a Democrat's Head Explode

Actually yes, you can pay for taxes no matter how much you owe, you simply enter a payment agreement. And no, its not that easy to get citizenship, work visas or green cards, so the analogy doesnt stands.
You're trying to simplify one and complicate the other. Paying back 100k in addition to paying your current taxes is not easy, even with a "payment plan". Getting citizenship is not supposed to be easy, and shouldn't be easier because you broke the law for 10 years.

Actually no, you are the one simplifying things.

You talk as if people could inmigrate legally but chose to do so illegaly to avoid paying a cost. They do so illegally because the law isnt matching the reality on the ground.

Here's how those two issues work with the neo-liberal, DNC crowd:

1. Cheap, immigrant labor helps grow the economy. It's good for business. Let them stay and milk them hard.

2. We've provided enough accounting loopholes for those with "real money" to have no need to illegally underpay their tax bills. And if you're not making that "real money", fuck you, pleb, pay up or face garnishment and liens.

The states having to deal with an influx of illegals should just give them a bus/plane ticket to Washington.

You are drawing an analogy, im poking holes at said analogy.

You have had no success thus far. You might have more luck if you just go ahead and explain why my analogy is incorrect. Instead of beating around the bush. Just come out and say it. I don't think you can.

No, actually im quite correct, people dont simply have the option of immigrating legally, so they go the illegal way.

If people had the option of immigrating legally they would do so.

That is your argument? Seriously, are you joking?

They have the option to immigrate legally. This is their option: immigrate legally, or immigrate illegally, or stay where they are.

They can stay where they are. Just because it better in America doesn't mean they have to come here Illegally.

Actually no they cant.

Actually no they cant.

Okay, I guess I am out of this conversation with you. I might be intellectually stunted. Because they have a choice. Just because it is not a good choice for them doesn't mean they're not supposed to take it.

Responsible adults make responsible decisions.

Ok how does a mexican farm laborer applies to get a work visa to work in an american farm?

Dems are not the ones blocking immigration reform.

We don't need reform. We need to enforce our current laws and evict every illegal in the US. We need to build the border wall/fence and keep them out.

That's because there are too many people and they wonder why people have a large weapons cache in the homes nowadays. Dumb politicians I say obliterate them all and have the 10x more intelligent campuses take over the entire US.

Well, the obvious distinction is that enforcing (presumably, cannot confirm) deportation laws has greater costs than benefits, whereas not enforcing tax laws is costly to revenue than the cost to enforce them. Not sure if the former is true or not, but the latter most certainly is.

Or we could treat illegals exactly how Mexico treats their illegals. Would you like that? You know, rape them and rob and kill them. Or throw them in prison to rot.

Or put them on a train and send them north into Canada.

It's the same basic method that programmers overseas use to get a work visa.

No?

Do you really believe we have an obligation to make legal immigration available to everyone who wants it? Does Mexico have a policy like that?

Yeah, in your example about the Mexican farmer, they don't have the resources to come here legally. Although they word hard and are the ideal employees for farmers, they cost our country a lot of money. They are unskilled, they don't pay real estate taxes to cover the cost of educating their kids and more likely than not, they are on one or more form of welfare.

We take 1.5m each year already and we have an illegal immigrant population of more than 10 million and we have to defend not taking more?

So $138m people want to move to the US, most of them in the 3rd world now.

there are three countries where more than a quarter of the adult population would like to move here: Liberia, Sierra Leone and the Dominican Republic.
