american soldier explains why she doesn't salute the flag

Sounds like someone with a serious case of conflicting priorities. I mean, she enlisted to be a soldier for the country she despises.

soldiers these days could give a fuck about dying for their country

they do it for the hand outs afterwards and to claim disability bc they have ptsd now bc someone shot back at them

Careful now.

I got a heads up from my captain yesterday, her info has been used to make several fakes and/or her profile has been hacked. Its probably not her.

Correct. The only one that's real is her hiding in the car to get out of evening colors.

You know how I can tell you're a POG...

It means this isnt WW2 and people dont join the military because they think it is some sacred institution.

You might have a point on your littke dig if 2/3 of WWII servicemen didn't have to be drafted.

The motives for people joining in WW2 were much different than people joining today was my point.

Getting a draft letter vs. signing up because you want to be in the Army?

I don't think draftees were allowed to pick their MOS and/or duty station either.

Any Western-European country...
In some of them, racism towards black people has completely disappeared. There is still plenty of racism in America. And the difference between them and white people in terms of wealth is way bigger in America.

HUH? You might want to do some research on Spain, Austria, Switzerland.... and thats just off the top of my head.

Exactly. People join in order to make money if they have no other avenue in life. That, and you get crazy fucks wanting to go overseas and legally kill people.

I take offense to this as you didn't admit that you are just making a generalization.

I ran a meat and deli department at a supermarket, helped train thoroughbred horses, and did AAU freestyle wrestling. Made enough money to do whatever I wanted to do. At age 20 I decided to venture outward. Nothing more nothing less.

Quite a few military officers worked in business offices and got bored with it.

So feel free to stick that broad paint brush where the sun don't shine.

lol, but you sign up in the military where you can be killed for this country?

name the list of countries where blacks are better off than in america?

It's a job. You don't have to be a slave to your country just because you live there.

Just because they were conscripted doesnt mean they didnt want to be there. The public overwhelmingly supported conscription in WW2.

"One national survey found that 67% of respondents believed that a German-Italian victory would endanger the United States, and that 71% supported "the immediate adoption of compulsory military training for all young men". Similarly, a November 1942 survey of American high-school students found that 69% favored compulsory postwar military training"

It was an official policy, but its not like Vietnam where guys were trying to dodge it.

The soldiers that fought in WW2 and the ones that fight today fight for different reasons, you'd be an idiot not to realize this.

So, has anybody pointed out that all of those are fake? It's a different account. The first one is @sheffeynation, while these are made by @teriquasheffey.

I can understand her complaints about the more recent stuff. The civil rights era and beyond but there isn't a country in the world that didn't have slaves at some point in their history and there is still full-on slavery in some countries today.

Shit, the Allies used Germans as slave labour after WWII ended. Bring that up instead of something that not a single person alive today has any first hand knowledge of.
