It's all fun and games until the North Sea becomes the North American Sea.Sweden has no oil. I guess its safe here![]()
Is it because Norway took all the oil?
Correct.Once again NO.
They cant sell it.
Why cant people get this into their heads?
"It’s unclear. When he brought up the idea in 2019, adjunct Professor Rasmus Leander Nielsen of Greenland University told local media that Denmark can’t sell Greenland because its home-rule law of 2009 “clearly states that Greenlanders are their own people.” Trump’s best hope would be for the territory to gain independence and then choose to arrange a sale to the US."
For US to buy it Greenland has to go independent and then sell them self to US.
A country that has worked towards independence since the 1970ties should suddenly go independent just to sell them self to another country?
You can choose either spaghetti or pot roastFine,
But I get to pick the meals…
I was told Trump was for peace and would end all wars.
Great point.I am worried when the Russians start to make more sense.
"Greenland's fate must be decided on the basis of the Greenlanders' own will, within the framework of current Danish legislation and without outside interference."
The Russian ambassador in Denmark
He's not talking about war. The only reason for Canada and Mexico to not want to join the USA is pride. You live in America? Whatever state you live in joined the USA at some point.
If Canada joins the US, all the libs crying about it up here will have moved to Florida or Arizona in the first five years.
Thanks for the info. It's only 57k people. Who knows what they want if the deal is good. To gain independence then strike a deal to make them citizens could be attractive plus the cash and a portion of the mining. US could provide infrastructure etc in the deal. Maybe it's not feasible....But you just pointed out how it could be done. I'm not worried about obtaining Greenland. I'm just rolling with the idea proposed by the OP.Once again NO.

I mean, he said he did not rule out military action in regards to Greenland.
Such an idiotic thing to say. Fucking moronic.
I live close to a country Trump more or less has threaten with military and or economical consequences if he does not get Greenland.
Its does not sound peaceful at all....
But of course Trump is just joking.
Yeah imagine America taking military action against another country. It's just unimaginable.
That's because he saw your posts on SD...and your constant trolling... Plus Trump isn't a cat lover.....I live close to a country Trump more or less has threaten with military and or economical consequences
