I only watched bits and pieces of this, but it touched upon something I felt for a while and have mentioned before. The extreme "woke" politics borrowed a lot from the Israeli playbook.

When the guy in the video said there was no "room" to criticize Israel no matter the situation, it's obviously right. There was always this ridiculously low trip-wire of people who would be like "it's kind of functioning as an apartheid state, I don't think it's right" were met with a response of "you must be one of them nazis!" insinuating a card-holding nazi either denying the holocaust happened, or wishing more people died in it, or amazingly both. See it today with Bibi throwing out "antisemitism" claims because someone showed a video of something that happened.

The extreme leftist movement leveraged a lot of this; extremely low trip-wires for one to be labelled and dismissed as a racist (to the point of absurdity where you just are and any denial is evidence you are), or misogynist, etc. Even basic clearly stated scientific facts, or citing "inconvenient" politically incorrect information was enough. You were all of a sudden a bad person who needs to be cancelled.

It's amazing how in favor of lambasting the folks in the latter camp the midget Shapiro and Levin are, while so supremely acting in the first camp. Shapiro's channel is largely built around dubious dog whistling against women, queers, minorities, blacks etc. They'd find Fuentes not an issue or at minimum, not worth shining a spotlight on, but to the point of following to the inevitable conclusion, Fuentes just expanded The Daily Wire tent by something like as marginal as 2% of the population, and Ben and Matt get a taste of their own medicine and they can't handle it.
