Am I the only one who thinks Colby is desparately trying to get into pro-wrestling?

I mean it's not the 80s anymore. I don't follow the product these days but guys like Michaels, Punk, Hardy, Jericho etc. have been world champs.

Main eventers don't ALL have to look like Hogan anymore.

Well he's kind of an uncharismatic dipshit so yeah that could be an issue. My inner wrestling nerd just had to speak up. I was still watching during that transition from all rounded up monsters to regular sized guys being naon eventers.

And after WCW folded and the WWF had ALL the best mid card and amin eventers for years? Maaaaan, those were some good times. So many incredible rivalries.

to do it for him says it all. i think he suffers from some sort of anxiety issues.. HES NOT A GOOD GUY

Sean strickland if he didnt have mental illness would be a much better Pro wrestler.

True, but the guys you mentioned had/have buckets of charisma and were/are gods on the mic (well except for Hardy, he is charismatic and is obviously over as hell, but he was always kinda bad on the mic tbh 😂) the same can't be said about Colby.
And the thing is, he'd still look small in comparison to those guys, even Punk and Jericho lol.

It depends on what they mean by that. Does Colby have a high income lifestyle in comparison to say Conor? Probably not. But in comparison to anyone on this thread? Let's just say I wouldn't complain if I had Colby's salary in my bank account.

What I'm saying is that I don't know if Colby has a lavish lifestyle and maybe he was smart with his money.

Honestly, as a gay dude myself, Colby being closeted makes sense. It would explain why he's such a miserable prick all the time. More than anything he probably wants to continue his high income lifestyle after his UFC career is over but he's just not a good candidate for WWE.

We all know he talks a lot but his mic skills are bad. He stutters, he messes up lines, he doesn't have good dictation. He's not Chael Sonnen or Conor McGregor.

He's also small for pro-wrestling star standards. The small dudes in the sport are few and they have to serve special niche type of characters.

He was working on the Indy pro wrestling scene a few years ago before he became a higher profile UFC fighter. The promo he cut in Brazil directly came from his time working in professional wrestling and he intentionally embraced being a heel.
 
I also think it’s obvious, but irrealistic IMO. He’s been a loser lately, but I still think that he can actually do MMA, whereas wrestling, while [SPOILER, BEWARE !!!!!!!!] not being actual fighting, still demands that you know what you’re doing. Imagine him on the mic, sounding so fake that even the pro wrestling fanbase would look at him in disbelief, turn off the TV, marry someone and raise kids instead.

He can wrestle but he’s a bad actor, pretty stupid, with an overall oyster charisma, and small, which doesn’t help. I’d watch once for comedic purposes though.
 
Colby doesn't have the look, following, or charisma to do anything in WWE.

Logan Paul, as much as I dislike him, is a legit talent in the ring, and Ronda was a megastar already.

Colby's MMA promos are terrible and unconvincing, he prob wouldn't even make the NXT roster.

Sure, but very few small guys. And idk d00d I think Colby has a tendency to turn into a stuttering mess. He COULD do it, I just doubt he'll be very good.
