I'd ask the reverse question, what is the point to let in non-white/east asian/ people into a country? I mean from a large scale point of view, sure bringing in some physicist from pakistan is good but that could still happen on a case by case basis.
Take France, for example, outside of sports and food the 10% muslim population didn't bring anything worth their cost in increased crime and terrorism.
In the USA, blacks aren't really immigrants but anyway, outside of sports and music they have very rarely contributed anything substantial compared to the enormous amount of crimes they commit and the amount of welfare they need.
You can cite some outliers like Neil deGrasse or Ben Carson, but they aren't enough to tip the balance.

Japan doesn'teven allow other Asians in and many would say Japan does adhere to Japanese supremacy.

The Japanese view themselves as distinct from other Asians, but then again Nazis also viewed themselves as distinct from other whites. The basis for that kind of thinking was still racial, instead of purely nationalist.

I do think that the Japanese are eventually moving towards the way of simple nationalism, without a heavy emphasis on race. But it was only 10 years ago that their government officials were putting out statements that Japan is "a nation of one race, one civilization, one culture", and their current policies don't really lead a person to make the assumption that they've changed their views too much.

Doesn't Israel have a decent sized Arab population?

They're working on a solution to separate the Arabs from the Israelis, and have been working on it for the past several decades.

As far as your second paragraph you can dig deeper than race to find crime statistics. Look at Cambodians compared to other the general Asian race in America along with Nigerian immigrants to the ancestors of the US slave population.

I agree, but we must admit that most people will not dig deeper. They see race, they see the crime, and they will want a simple solution. A white-only or a black-only nation is one such simple solution. I don't see it as so much a supremacist view as a reactionary view to the initial understanding that race relations are not going so well at the moment.

We've had threads about all kinds of random shit. I don't think you can use that as a microcosm for the country.

You don't see any prominent voices out there advocating white supremacy. The only people talking about that are prominent liberals and democrats. All the while they stoke racism and anger from minorities.

It is pretty much depicted by western liberal media as a country that does everything wrong : protectionism, nationalism, traditionalism, etc.

Everybody in the West cries at their deflationary economy, stagnation, high state debt, low birth-rate, "the lost decade", lack of immigration, wha wha whaaa, etc.

The funny thing is that Japan is the safest place on earth, has the highest life expectancy, has a top-3 gold reserve, has top-notch infrastructure and hardly any poverty.

Japan is superior the West on so many levels, yet these aspects of Japanese society rarely are adressed by western media, according to which Japan is imploding.

I love the idea of immigrant screening, but doing it based on race is pants on head retarded. We should just let people in based on their skills, wealth, education, in ratios dictated by the current job market. If your country has a shortage of bean pickers and an abundance of accountants, it makes more sense to let in Kenyan bean pickers before French accountants.

I think that it is especially interesting to see how some ideologies and narratives have imposed themselves in the West as the only remotely viable alternative.

For example, we are told since we are kids that free trade is the only possible model. Any impedement to free trade will be criticised by the international press.

Yet if you want to see something messed up, read up a bit on the international steel market.

Go tell the millions (literally) of steel workers in the US and Europe that they are being sacrificed "for the greater good" and that in the end everybody will benefit from the death of the western steel industry as it is being replaced by the chinese steel industry.

I think that Japan is an excellent case to study.

It is pretty much depicted by western liberal media as a country that does everything wrong : protectionism, nationalism, traditionalism, etc.

Everybody in the West cries at their deflationary economy, stagnation, high state debt, low birth-rate, "the lost decade", lack of immigration, wha wha whaaa, etc.

The funny thing is that Japan is the safest place on earth, has the highest life expectancy, has a top-3 gold reserve, has top-notch infrastructure and hardly any poverty.

Kasich and Bush are neither Tea Party types nor alt right types. Just regular Republicans. I'd say that the NR was mainstream but sympathetic to the TP (and strongly opposed to the alt right now, though not always). Breitbart is definitely alt right.
