ALONE - History Channel

Almost everyone sees it like this.

There was this awesome scene with him in the middle of a whiteout.

With Jordan there was this awesome part with a frozen fish in the middle of a frozen lake in deep winter. He catches it and screams. Then there is that wolverine that kept stealing his meat. Roland shone in that regard, he built his stuff really well.Even mice couldn't get to it.
I liked Jordan because he was the first to get big game. That damned wolverine though, he made that structure to keep the meat safe then left the ladder up!

I had something in my eye with the two squirrels last week, I know it's a part of life but seeing that really tugged on the heart strings, the one which hadn't been caught was in complete terror.

This season has been briilliantt so far.

Yeah, that was a bit sad. She let the squirrel grieve it's friend or what she thought was it's child. At least she kept composed, unlike the first person to go. He just wussed out and pulled the plug. If he went through the experience that she did, he'd probably break down sobbing and pull the plug immediately. Soft af!

Knew he was going to tap the 3rd time he mentioned his harsh upbringing. In his defense he's pretty young. The chick with the squirrels' shelter is going to be epic when she finishes it.

I don't have a favourite yet but no one's annoying me either which is cool.

Jesse's long term shelter is massive!! lol! I hope she lasts long enough to finish it. I want to see it done. I like Benji so far. He seems to be in the right place mentally and is focused. Juan Pablo is hilarious to me. He seems out of depth, but he's so optimistic and is still doing fairly well.

Yeah Benji's awesome. And he keeps goats with little goat jackets!

I don't get it. The best hunter in the show just quits outright and gives up.

Dude caught multiple grouse and squirrels. He was killing it.I guess mental toughness makes a huge difference.

He's only 23, if he'd had a tough life and was finally happy I kind of get it. He missed them terribly.

So all the seasons up till now went without catching any Beaver. And suddenly, they've got two Beavers in one episode

Hunting is on point this season. Repeated kills by many contestants. In That second Beaver shot, the arrow literally hit the Beaver underwater.

I'll be honest. I was watching genuine grief on part of that one squirrel that kept looking at its partner or friend. Pretty rare moment. It's the kind of thing that turns people vegan.

Something in my eye again reading, knowing you're a big burly guy. I like Jesse and know it was protein, but really seeing the other one going mental...just not nice. She did say that she saw it chowing down on something the day after so in my head there is no fucks given and goldfished it.

And another one bites the dust. Igor was just expending way too much energy and calories trying to build a log cabin on a seaweed diet. Unless he just didn't film it, he hardly fished, trapped, or hunted. I don't even remembering seeing him trying to forage for berries, mushrooms, or greens. The only protein he had, was that single mussel. Knowing that there were mussels there, he should have looked for more around the rocks, or dug around the shore.

The dude should have just finished his floor and put a basic A-Frame over top of what he had built.

If those two guys continue to succeed in the bigger game like that, they'll be each others comp for the long run. Although Benji does seem to already have the upper hand with his bear recon. That's gonna be epic!

It always makes me laugh when so called "survivalists" get upset over a squirrel...
They should only feel bad for taking someone's spot that actually deserved it.

I kept yelling about going to kill things to eat rather than a HGTV scenario. Ridiculous.

Producers of the show contacted my fishing lodge, to see about possibly using it as a base of operation/rescue point for a new season of the show, based in SE Alaska. I guess the contestants would be placed on a deserted island. (Large island covered in mountains and heavy forest). Not sure if we will do it or not, or if they will even choose this location. We shall see.
