Oh sheet!

Can't wait to watch that one person in every season that refuses to bring a fire starter because they are confident they can make a fire from anything..
 
spoilers for the last aired season.

i just watched the last season. its definitely the only survival show worth watching and that isn't hindered by a bunch of gimmicky stuff. less strouds survivor-man was also really good although it had a different purpose.

this season was a trip. it would get focused on the people who were not going to make it and it would be BLEAK. and then it would shift to the runner up... a woman and she would just be having the time of her life there... just rally enjoying it all.... she even said she was burning too many calories due to hiking around to see all the beauty... it was really impressive.

unfortunate;y she got frost bite on her toes and had to leave 9 days before the finish even though all the rest was easy for her.
 
Which season was the hardest? I think probably season 4 even though they were in teams. One poor bastard in each group had to hike through brutal terrain for 10 miles with half of the materials. No one could catch any food and it was constantly wet and cold.

A woman hasn't won yet. They came very close though.A lot of very hardy contestants in the show. The favourite to win the Mongolia season was a woman but she got taken out because of a freak fishing accident. The hook ended up entering her finger.

There was this awesome scene with him in the middle of a whiteout.


With Jordan there was this awesome part with a frozen fish in the middle of a frozen lake in deep winter. He catches it and screams. Then there is that wolverine that kept stealing his meat. Roland shone in that regard, he built his stuff really well.Even mice couldn't get to it.

I don't think it's going to happen.
 
Multiple people catching grouse in the very first episode is a good sign.

I am interested in that trap working though. We might see a bear caught and killed for the very first time. I highly doubt anyone is killing a bear with an arrow so this is the best bet.
 
Well, I guess we won’t get to see that found bear trap being used. We have our first person quitting after only 15 days in. Very surprising since things haven’t been been that rough yet. Food is plentiful and the temperature has been better than previous seasons. I’m sure that’s temporary though, and we’ll see snow in the future.
