For me it's because the only time he tested positive, the fight was overturned to be a NC instead of a win. For the rest of his record, he tested clean.

And if your argument at that point is, "well, he didn't fail a test, but I'm just assuming he was on PEDs for those fights anyway," then not only is that subjective opinion, but now there's no weight to a clean record, because anyone can assume anything about any fighter. And if a clean record doesn't matter (simply because you've decided it doesn't), then Jones is easily the GOAT, because his accomplishments while testing clean surpass anyone else's.

But if sherdog is to represent a microcosm of the world wide MMA community, I believe it is safe to say that half of this community does not believe Jones to be goat due to PED usage.

Don't you all thing that you would at least need a majority of people to believe a fighter is goat before designating this label to him/her?

Doesn't it bother you at all that Jones does not have that support of the MMA community?

What evidence do you have for Khabib and GSP ? Absolutely nothing. GSP never tested postive but only has one fight under USADA. Khabib and Nate have much more fights under USADA. GSP is irrelevant since he almost never had proper drug testing during his whole career.

Also, according to Makhachev : Later I had problems with USADA, I was worried more about that... Even though it was just meldonium. Russian athletes on national teams were getting it like vitamins... Every national team was giving mildronate [meldonium]. I still think it's systemic prejudice against Russian athletes...

I think you misunderstood me. I asked this rethorical question of the poster because I don't believe that those guys did PEDs. I think it's BS to claim that everyone did steroids.
