In his true Ubereem form he would beat the Fedor of 2011-2012. That’s pretty clear.

It would be quick work. Stipe would be drown and outmatched in every facet of the game. Jones is on a different level than Stipe.
 
The HW division is pretty thin, and frankly I see Jones winning 2-3 more fights and then retiring as champ.
 
I count Stipe as UFC HW GOAT, and if Jones wants to imagine beating a 40 year old, greatly declined version of Stipe means something, he can have at it.
There’s a pretty big gulf between Stipe, and the actual HW GOAT Fedor.

Jones doesn’t call out Fedor—
He calls Fedor to praise him.

You're getting your timelines mixed up, IMO.

The UFC needed to sign Fedor in 2007.

At that point, Cain was 2-0 (unsigned), JDS was 2-0 (unsigned), Overeem had just lost to Kharitonov and bounced back against Buentello.

None of them were even nearly a threat to Fedor.

I mentioned Brock because he debuted in 2008 and was the fight to make - not Cain, JDS or Overeem.

The UFC's best heavyweights in 2007, post-PRIDE, were Nogueira, Couture, Gonzaga, Sylvia, and Kongo.

Fedor would have ripped through all of those, and eventually lost in the UFC to someone like Cain.

I didn’t think the discussion had a hard timeline on when he supposedly would’ve arrive. I agree it would’ve been vastly different in 2007-2008 timeframe.

Ah so you have no proof. Sounds about right from a pride fan. all the proof in the world wont stop you from believing pride was “real” when its really more like pro wrestling

I believe there might have been fixed fights, especially when it came to the pro wrestling guys.

I'm not saying there wasn't.

I'm also not a 'PRIDE' fan any more than a UFC fan.

I don't care, really.

I like MMA.

I'm not the one saying one is squeaky clean and the other are dirty cheaters.

You've literally just seen a guy take a perfect 3 year lay off despite no suspension :eek::eek::eek::rolleyes:
