It is impossible to have a definitive GOAT, so why do we keep talking about it? However, IF Jones had never failed a drug test, there would be little debate. In my opinion, Jones would have won the fights he tested positive for, regardless. Would any Jones doubters out there change their minds about him, if he wins HW belt and never tests positive again?

Difference is Anderson, unlike Jones, never popped as a champ, let alone for the biggesrt win in his career, like Jon Jones did.

The fact Khabib is not the most accomplished fighter on that list in terms of title defences doesn't mean he's not the best fighter on the list, and also it took him 10 UFC wins to get his title while some other guys listed got there shots right away.

People have different criteria for GOAT. This is why there are people arguing undefeated Tyson Fury is possibly the best HW ever right now when he doesn't have near Ali's accomplishments. People are just looking at the two in a straight up fight and saying Fury would win.

Judging who the best fighter is is measured in past fights. This is how we can compare them. If not we should all know its that Gracie that went 400-0 in beach fights no one saw, ofc this is crazy talk. Title defences are not the biggest factor but usually they are the biggest fights vs the best opponents. If you all take that into account and compare the level of compition JBJ GSP Silva went through then its very clear Khabib aint nowhere near the top spot.
