Why do wins like dan hardy, thiago alves, josh koscheck x2, LW bj Penn, nick Diaz and matt serra considered all.time great wins? Bj is a legend but at that time he was a LW.

Georges has literally only three great wins and all of them decisions. Fitch, sheilds and condit. That's his body of work. At least when Fedor and Anderson fought lower tier comp in their prime they destroyed them. You think a 2009 Andy would have went to a 5 round decision with a mW Dan hardy? Same with a 2004 Fedor. Why? It's valid point. Fedor, Silva, Penn all hurt their legacy taking bad losses toward the end of their career. It's just a fact you can't ignore all the bad losses these guys took staying in too long.

Hendricks was a close decision victory for GSP and he came back years later to win yet another belt. GOAT for me.

That would be the most dangerous fight of Bones career. I've learned my lesson to never underestimate Bones, but fighting DC at HW might be his 1st loss.

DC is not a top 20 GOAT candidate and he's probably not even top 10 in the GOAT discussion for his own division. Why would he be on a GOAT poll?

How? By staying in too long, by racking up loses that are more notable than your wins, by taking big beatings to average fighters are just some of the way to diminish past achievements.

Most ppl memory of fighters like Fedor these days is of him getting smashed by Moldonado, Mitrione and Big foot 3 middle of the road guys..1 who's pretty much a chubby middle weight.

That's the memory most will have of him now. Why? Staying in too long and taking a tonne of shine off his legacy and Silva being a confirmed drug cheat has a dark cloud over his whole career.

Voted for Jones, but happy to see GSP up on top. The biggest knock against him is not finishing fights, but his record against top competition is unbelievable. He was the first of a new breed of fighters all of whom but a few pale weakly in comparison.

I would not be surprised if pretty much 100% of top fighters have used roids on occasions such as in the start of their careers to give themselves a boost, to break thru training walls, or after injuries to heal.

I see Jones differently. I think Jones is a habitual user who is not only addicted to roids but who cannot perform at top levels anymore without them. His fall would likely be Johnny Hendricks like if he tried to fight clean and Jones ego will not allow him to risk the losing streak Hendricks is now on. that is why him, despite knowing he is going to be the most tested guy out there is still trying to beat the tests rather than just staying off for a while and laying low.

If, like Jones, you are a habitual user who cannot perform at anywhere near the same level off them (like Hendricks) then you have no business being on these lists.

Will anyone be surprised if in Jones next fight they again find something indicative or Roids? Or if they don't finally and he ends up KO flat??

Exactly, hes clearly super juiced, and his fans don't realize this like the majority of MMA fans which is probably why they don't understand why Fedor and GSP are way ahead of him even though hes not even in the same category anyways lol
