I am so sick of the "both sides" arguments that Republicans constantly make. It's like saying an orange and an apple are the same because they're both fruits.
One person getting shot during an altercation at a outdoors protest against ACTUAL wrongs done by police on the community is not the same as an idiot that gets shot storming the nation's capital with a mob, trying to get at elected officials, after their demented leader just told them that 'they need to fight for this country and that they have been robbed.'
There is no other way for the latter to end but in someone dying.
There's protesting--which would have been fine even though it is retarded Qanon conspiracy nonsense, but there's protesting, and then there's batshit crazy mess like this where these people show up with guns and tactical equipment and try to storm government buildings. It is not the same thing just because there are a lot of angry people at both events.
