I went on a business trip to California twenty years ago, spent a week driving up the coast from Carlsbad to San Francisco. San Diego was one of the only places I had time to enjoy, it was beautiful.

My only memories of Carlsbad are endless fields of myrtle and baby eucalyptus. I was a floral importer and they were a major supplier of greens.

The company I was visiting there was Mellano.

Yep. I remember those fields well. They had a beautiful flower field there as well. It's not a big city, but it was great place to live.

i support BLM's cause. i mean, i think generally speaking, most Americans agree that folks of all colors should be treated the same by the police (who are an extension of government).

i used to own an office in downtown Charlotte. during the BLM protests a few years back, the bar next door to my office was ransacked by the rioters - windows smashed and looted. my fantasy was that the Charlotte Meck police dept would have intervened in the most extreme way possible.

i support the right of folks who felt the election was stolen to protest, march and hold their rallies. i think they're misguided, but i support their right to be misguided.

i also feel that every traitor who broke into the Capital building should have been dealt with in the most extreme way possible.

i shed zero tears for Ashli Babbitt - a traitor to the country and an embarrassment to the US military which she served for over a decade.
