if you want to bring up the past lets talk about ancient Rome and Greece. homosexuality (in very different forms was rampant and the majority of people practiced it) philia was also widespread in Rome and seen as a genuine "good".

I wonder if you can make a case that that was all genetic and since you cannot then you can concede that it was socially conditioned. the FACT of that and the FACT that wildly different forms of homosexuality existed between rome and greece proves that homosexuality is NOT genetic but largely socially conditioned.

This is true - this is WAY over the line and really drains any respect I had for Overeem. This is really shitty parenting. As you say, you can disagree, disaprove, even be extremely concerned by what's going on with your family - especially children, but you DON'T fucking casually chat in a totally intolerant and condescending about it like this in front of an audience of millions. I acknowledge there have been gender fluid identities and gender roles that arent what we'd describe as male or female - and that the concepts of male and female themselves are also multivariate across different cultures and times. I don't believe it's all "just woke nonsense" but I do think there are some concerning aspects of the contemporary gender theory package - but even still, I just can't imagine saying someting like this about my own child.

I was surprised to see this video. It's not like Overeem has ever been an icon of subtle, empathetic philosophy, but he has been known as a pretty articulate and honest guy, for a fighter - he is Dutch after all, which is a culture associated with both honesty and compassion.
