She never said she wanted to change everyone over to electric cars she said she wanted to make all new cars to be electric by 2030. Yes the green new deal has issues but when you shoot for something big you at least hope you can shoot for common ground while gaining something. Meaning never go into something already looking to make exceptions towards your goals. You really want to push for a higher goal whatever that goal is your shooting for and to come at it already lowering the bar you will find yourself without anything.

In Trumps book art of the deal he talks about when he seeks to bid for a job he would commit to things he could not deliver but would shoot for them to get that contract. Basically admitting that he was out to one up someone else with ether a lower bid or put something in that may not be possible on the budget but getting that contract was all important and he said he would work it out later with the company or the city who he was doing the work. Its apparently common practice and many do it so people who are excepting these bids know full well how this game is played but put up with it because they know the people they are working with before hand. Trump would commonly burn sub contractors to the point where many would not work with him again because of this practice but almost all of these guys do this stuff. Sub contractors got burned a lot but its the nature of the business and they put up with it in many cases because everyone doing it. That being said Trump would shoot for more then he could deliver in many cases but he ended up getting the contract over someone else and that is the point of working towards common ground while ending up ahead.

Of course CNN is not buying it seeing that 30 to 40 percent I would imagine of their ad dollars come from oil/defense/political lobbying groups anything that challenges that status quo will get push back. Anderson has never been a friend of the progressive left he was a total supporter of the Iraq war. So to throw him in with people who get more then 65 percent of their campaign dollars from private small donors is not true at all. He has never been a fan of Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Tulsi Gabbard and others from the progressive left. Anderson makes likely nearly 40,000 per day supporting the corporate agenda even as he tries to play himself off as a liberal reporter. Find me a republican who is pro-life will not take superpac money will sign a pledge to have more then 65 percent of his donors come from small donations and is against wars and sign a pledge that he will not cut social security or medicare and I would be on board. So far Bernie has most of these things except pro-life position.
