To start he was given a million dollars to play with, when his parents died he enherited the empire, like any oldest son would. Look at every movie star, they are most likely liberal, wealthy, and will pass everything to their kids, do you hate them?

It isn't just that he benefited from family wealth, its that he he lies about it and in context, he's a shit businessman.

He didn't get just a million. He got hundreds of millions before dad was even dead. When dad died, he spent almost all of the 170 mil he got selling dad's assets on the cheap- within a year. Over 50 million into a casino creditors were getting antsy about.

Dude is cash poor despite being given hundred of millions before even his dad's inheritance. He'd probably have been better off putting his money in an index fund. But his business acumen, was supposed to be the sell on why he'd be great. Except despite being given hundreds of millions, he has to rely on shady foreign investors to bail him out, take advantage of bankrupcy laws, and shaft everyone possible on his way.

The US cost 1 trillion? Your talking about Afghanistan only we spent far less then Iraq and Iraq oil could be worth many trillions seeing it's considered by many the second largest oil reserves in the world behind Saudi Arabia. We spent around 200 billion to 250 billion or so on the Afghan conflict and very likely given that no one really knows how many rare earth materials are located in Afghanistan it could be more then 1/2 trillion dollars. Remember though when VP Cheney stated that the Iraq wars total cost was going to be around 50 billion and they would welcome us as liberators. Well not including the continuing conflict costs the Iraq war is around 1.5 trillion dollars but Iraq oil could be worth many trillions over decades we could be talking trillions or more. Just for reference saudi aramco just the refining operation of the Saudi Government is worth around 1.2 trillion by some est this is just to refine Saudi Oil so you can guess the massive value of Saudi Oil.

While the rest of the world is moving forward with big alternative energy plans we continue to debate if coal can still be competitive with natural gas and wind if we prop up the dying business with taxpayer money just to get votes.
