Media Alex Pereira wants trilogy vs Izzy

There's nothing else for Izzy in the division, might as well while Rob and DDP fight

I respect Pereiras maturity

he is a real man unlike Izzy who may be transitioning based off his breast size
If Izzy is so good and Alex got saved twice.. Why didn't Izzy follow up afterwards and finish the deal? All part of the game.
I'm not saying Izzy can't brutally KO him again next fight, but you make it out like Izzy is so much better and he's still 3-1 or 1-1 if you only count MMA.
Also the ref stoppage was warranted. Dude was out on his feet, but I'd have no issue if he'd let him go out cold as well so no debate (still ref did his job)

ofc its part of the deal. Izzy is better but that doesn't mean he can't lose. The odds had it about right (the odds at 0-3), Izzy was about a 60% fav.

I don't know what the odds would be for a 4th, but it still remains if Alex where to strike first and well, or if he wore Izzy down with leg kicks and Izzy couldn't get anything back, then he likely wins.

But the last 3 fights have shown us, Izzy finds a way to land first each time. And Alex goes down .

Izzy has responded to every single message from Alex since the fight. Let’s see if he replies to this.

Izzy still being on a victory lap like 4 weeks after the fight is very on-brand for him. He’s an insufferable weirdo. I don’t get how he has so many fanboys.

I think Izzy KO's him again.

The 3 - 1 is deceiving.
First fight I thought Adesanya got robbed.
2nd fight was a clear victory for Alex, but he almost got KOed himself if the ref didn't save him.
3rd fight Izzy was winning on points and almost KO'd Alex again. Marc Goddard literally blocked the killer blow and was saved by the bell.
4th fight Alex got KO'd as badly as Izzy did in there 2nd fight

Pretty much all there fights have been equal, with Alex having more luck and raw dog power in his hands. I find it surprising that Izzy been a good kickboxer and leg kicker himself, isn't actually that good at checking or blocking other peoples low kicks.

If Pereira wins the LHW belt and the trilogy takes place at 205lbs, I believe that it will become one of the most highly anticipated fights in UFC history. In the meantime, I will be cheering for both fighters to succeed.

I want the rematch, but Alex's heart is doing the talking here...he just had a brutal KO, as a fan take some time come back and kick that piece of shits ass one last time and hopefully the asshole finally shuts up.

Earn the rematch if you can.

Let him fight khamzat and lets find out how good he is

Let them both face somebody else and if they win it makes all the sense in the world. I don’t like trilogies all in a row.

meh when you fight four times, u can lose one. If ref didn't save Izzy, he probably would've gotten deaded too.

Bas talked about this, how k-1 guys deal with things like this better, before the third fight when lots of people were saying Alex got his number after finishing him. Maybe Bas is right.

they do. at least in old K-1 almost everyone who participated had been KO'd at least once. you can't thrive in that kind of environment without being ok with being KO'd

K-1's structure for booking fights is completely different than in MMA.

The fact that Pereira hasn't clapped back at Izzy with the picture of him requiring OXYGEN is a damn travesty. Come on brotha, apply yourself to this shit talking or don't do it at all

What fight were you watching? He was piecing up Izzy in their last fight, the only reason he got caught is because he got reckless and didn’t think Izzy could hurt him.

They’re 1-1 in MMA, Alex is 2-0 in Kickboxing, and if they met in the street non dehydrated Alex would make Izzy his wife if he wanted to.

I only became a fan of Alex because I’ve been following Izzy’s career since before the UFC, but realistically speaking Alex is the better fighter

@starcrafty bought a signed poster for their last fight.Apparently spending $775 USD on a poster that has a signature that might be Izzy's make you a big dog. You can't reason with someone like that.

Izzy finally talked too much crap. Alex wants the fight again now...

Lets run it back to settle things in MMA once and for all.

Alex seems to be killing himself with those weight cuts. He should take a year off, move to 205, and fight a low tier fighter to get back in the W column. That KO was brutal and it honestly looked like the weight cut destroyed his chin. The last thing he should do is another extreme weight cut 6 months after a brutal KO, and suffer another brutal KO. That will be a wrap on his career if he does.

If Alex knocks out Israel again is it a wrap on Izzy's career?

It’s more about having back to back KO losses, which is usually a career ender. I’ve watched a lot of careers and you can come back from one KO fine, but legit back to back KO losses in your 30s never ends well. Chuck, Weidman, Rockhold, and too many others to mention. The best thing you can do is take time off.

Izzy faced potentially having back to back knockouts 6 months apart from each other, people were saying he shouldn't take the last fight but he did fine.

When? Are you drawing some type of equivalency from Izzy being stopped standing (TKO), and Alex being knocked out cold (KO)?
