Throwing nothing but fight-ending shots, and still looking super smooth.
I can’t get enough of those padflow-video’s

His fight will take place in less than three weeks.
I can’t wait, gonna be an absolute banger with Poatan and Jan locked in together!
Who you got?

Aswell as Alex Pereira’s former kickboxing foe, and now close friend and training parter, Yousri Belgaroui

Yousri Belgaroui will fight on Dana White’s Contender Series August 29. Hopefully he walks away with a UFC-contract

I gotta side with the polish guy. Especially since Jan carries himself perfectly.

Great match up. 10/10

Gonna be such a banger. Jan will definitely shoot if it isn't over too quick.

He got the better wrestling and let's see if he is bigger stronger.

Even in the stand up he can do things Vs Alex.

Alex is younger though, better monument um sort of. Obviously he is a super high level striker

I don't think so..

He captured mw gold through a fast track (doesn't matter, he beat the champ imo)..

I think he will be tested in a different way this time around..

I love Alex as the next guy but I can't root against my countryman.

War Jan.

Just don't knock Alex out. That would actually make me sad. I will still be a bit sad, it's a lose lose situation for me because I really like Alex and want him to succeed.

I could watch Alex hit pads all day. Wish he was able to cut loose with some combos more often, though I doubt we will see much of that as he will always have to be wary of the TD.

As for the Jan fight though, I'm picking Jan. I'll be rooting for Alex, but I just think Jans wrestling will be too much for him. Jan isnt the quickest guy at 205 though, so I think Alex will have his chances.

Pereira's only thing going against him is age. Developing his ground game will just force everyone to beat him standing. That's a tough task.

I’m saying it now, Pereira will be even better at LHW and if he doesn’t do as well it will be due to his age. He will be even faster relative to his competition now. His tdd will be weaker, but he’s never really struggled with that anyway. Jan should attempt to grapple

I've said it on another pad video but you can really see how much focus is on countering the jab. Almost all focus seems to be on countering the jab and being defensively responsible to the jab. These guys are really breaking down Jan's striking style and attacking with what seems to be a very boxing heavy gameplan with full respect to the jab and seemed to have a couple counters for Jan's hand reaching defence..... Pereira really looks like he's training to put his foot on the gas and pressure the hell out of Jan to kill the wrestling and technical striking of his.

Also super dope to see Pereira work the punch shield.... most guys just rip on it like meatheads like it's a heavy bag with full power and no set up or practical use but Pereira is hitting it effortlessly like he would with pads and a ton of heat behind it and staying defensively sharp.

Pad holder walking into work like....

Ok, love these videos as you can see the speed and accuracy of the big man.
I also love the sounds and im thinking that @SenorFranko could maybe make a beat of of some of the sounds from the first 2 videos?
Maybe loop some of it etc, really just want to see what he comes up with.

Ok, now I can answer, this fight is between 2 well respected guys that don't have to resort to bullshit to sell the fight.
They both bring the war, and I like them both, and I sincerely hope Alex is working on his wrestling as hard as his stand up because Jan is not above holding you down.

If Alex stops a couple of takedowns its going to be a tough night out there, but vice versa.
If Jan can get a takedown or 2 then his stand up will be ome that much more lethal.

This should be a good and interesting fight, I gotta go with Alex here, but Jan ain't going away easy.

Yeah that counter means they seen how that jab nullified a lot of Izzy's offense.
Seems they have spotted a weakness perhaps, or like you said the pressure.

Good analysis sir.

Alex will be less depleted and more durable but he's gonna get manhandled by anyone who chooses to grapple him. Blachowicz, Ankalaev and Rakic would all ragdoll him with relatively ease. Hell, even Hill could control him without too much trouble if necessary.
