Media Alex Pereira dwarfing Johnny Walker

Which weightclass would you like Pereira to compete in?

Wasn't that obvious? I would be surprised if Alex would dwarf Rogan tho...

I still doin't get Johnny Walker's reaction to being KO'd by Jamahal Hill. It's like someone threw a mouse in the cage or he thought hill was pushing him off a clif.

They are about the same height. Walker might be slightly taller. He just has a really tiny head relative to his body. It looks even worse because his neck is so long.

Didn't Teixeira call out Alex Pereira in the post fight. He said something about Alex moving up to LHW soon and he will be facing him lol

This is the stupidest term I’ve ever heard.

I also have a hard time believing he’s not diminishing his performance by killing himself to make 185. So many fighters have improved by going up a weight class - Whittaker, Potier, Burns etc. Cutting more weight is bad for your cardio and chin.

It’s also funny when dudes complain and call guys like Khabib and Conor that as if they’re not making weight. Newsflash, they are fighting guys their own size. They both weighed in the same.

At the very least, reserve it for large guys like rumble or Khamzat at WW who miss weight because that’s about the only excuse to use that dumb ass term I can find.
Lots of fighters have failed moving up a class too.
F. Keven Lee
Rockhold
RDA
Gustafsson
BJ Penn

just to name a few off the top of my head

Dwarfing? If anything Walker still looks taller
Lol wtf You must be completely blind to say that walker looks taller. Pereira looks taller from every point of View: taller at the shoulders level, eye level , mouth level, nose level, forehead level etc while having worse posture

Wtf are you talking about? They're exactly the same

They look the same size to me.
Yeah idk why one guy always has to be "dwarfing" the other lol. You never see a thread titled "this fighter looking very similar in size to this other fighter".. The fact he's similar in Size to Walker and fights at 185 is pretty crazy tho.

These guys always say 'cutting weight is so hard, I felt like I was going to die', but then when another guy cuts twice as much weight they say 'he has an unfair advantage', which one is it then, it can't be both.

We must have a different definition of dwarfing.

Your face is slowly becoming the Mona Lisa of Sherdog, Shermano.

The ambivalent smile lays itself open to various interpretations. You seem happy, bemused, wickedly withholding some evil plot, wry, weary but content, resigned... All at the same time.

Truly a picture for the ages

1. As skill levels increase across the board, weight becomes a huge advantage. That's why divisions are based on weight. It's one of the very best predictors of success in a fight between trained opponents.
2. Sure they both weigh in the same, but they don't weigh the same come fight night. It simply isn't true that all fights in teh UFC are between fighters of the same size.
3. It's a system that can be abused, and weight bully is a fairly apt description of those that abuse it. Some guys (and gals) manage to end up about a half weight class heavier than their average opponent.
