Crime Alex Padilla arrested, handcuffed.

Quit spreading fake news. The truth isn't hard to find.

The 2nd sentence out of the senator's mouth was "I'm senator Alex Padilla and I have questions for..." than they grabbed him and drug him out of the room pushed him to the floor and handcuffed him.

See for yourself.

They knew who he was, and he "didn't" threaten her in anyway, he just tried to ask questions.

He was going toward the stage and her and he was not wearing his security pin so they had no idea who he was. He could claim to be Lincoln. After this was over and she found out who he was she talked to him and even gave him her official phone number si he could call if he had any questions.

I think he would have been OK if he had left when they told him to. He got handcuffed because he started fighting them and had to be physically removed. Not the best way to approach a conversation with a government leader. He was in street clothes without the congressional ID that they carry around their neck, so they really didn't have any reason to recognize him.

I know who he is by name, but I couldn't have recognized him, and I live in CA. They couldn't just take his word for it; I can't say I blame the police.

100%. I'm a Californian too and only know the drama queen by name. He could have held a press conference of his own, asked for a meeting, etc. He's a U.S. Senator not a member of Act Blue... or is he? Why did he remove his security ID pin prior is my question? He was looking to make the news and did... it just didn't work out how he or the Democrats thought it would. They look like unhinged anti-American idiots.

He created at a FAFO moment and now wants to cry about it.

Probably was a publicity stunt.

Probably was a publicity stunt.

100% - It just wasn't received the way the Democrats thought it would go. You know it went something like this...

Schumer: He's Hispanic, from California, and will make a great victim!
Schiff: Why can't it be me!?
Jeffries: Wait, we have plenty of Mexican California members of Congress and some women!!!
Schumer: It's "Hispanic" not "Mexican" and no, the congresswomen are not high profile enough.
Jeffries: Come on man, no one knows Padilla either. Can we run a focus group on it?
Schiff: I hate being White.
Schumer: No, we don't have time. Padilla will work just fine.
Schiff: Can't we just go with some more Russia collusion?
Jeffries: You're such a dumbass Adam.
Schiff: Fuck you, I'm in the Senate now.
Schumer: Why do we invite you Schiff?

Now all the Democrats will run to cameras and mics to claim Authoritarianism, when in fact this was 100% the Secret Service's call. The response has zero to do with the administration.

Yeah, they have gotten to be a joke.

I'm a centrist, I'm not on the right, and I'm pretty fed up with this continual repeating of the "nonviolent protest" gaslighting. Like we can see the violence with our own eyes. The left media is doing the same thing.

From the video I saw he was assuredly heated but I really didn’t see the need for him to get manhandled. Maybe he was upset, maybe it was some kind of stunt. Stupid all around.

Yeah I saw that. Not sure what to make of it. Don't they realize that incident can be used against them??

He is the senator for California. No way they don't know who he is. It's not like he didn't say I am senator so and so before they yoked him up.

Also lol at the footage. One of the agents had his hands on the senator's rear the whole time.
They be racist, yo LOL

If you can't follow the rules then yes no matter what party you are you deserve to be kick out.
So where were all those GOP members calling for handcuffs and escorting disruptive folks from their party out? It's happened multiple times in recent years.

Its also odd that you are talking about rules during an event without any formal rules. Regardless of the publicity stunt aspect, it's yet another example of the administration purposefully trying to intimidate any opponents.

Since when do senators wear their security pins in their home state?

I've interviewed congessmembers with security details in their district offices before, and I never saw them wear pins there.
