There are plenty of guys who are just as big that kill themselves to make 205. He fought at HW because he is a HW, as are all of these massive weight-cutters.

Barely anyone wanted to fight Sapp at that time. Take some time to learn. Don't rush.

I've never heard of a relevant mma fighter name Bob Sapp.

I do remember some freak show piledriving a guy with shitty TDs, but I've never heard of a guy named Sapp who had any decent wins.

Maybe I have dementia.

If you look at the skill level of these flyweights p4p, you'll find that they're not exactly worse than light heavyweights or heavyweights, the latter are just more popular because they're intimidating.
So yeah, his opponents are way better than they're made out to be.
You also gotta take longevity and win-ratio into consideration, DJ is 30-3, no one of the others was exactly close to that and two of Johnson's losses came by two all time greats as well in Cejudo and Cruz, with the Cejudo decision being questionable.

That being said, out of the mentioned guys Jose Aldo fought in the best weightclass by far.
 
Hendo and Nog aren't even top 20

he also lost a shitload of fights late in his career. hendo’s highs and lows are both higher than big nog’s

aldo has beaten 1 p4p ranked fighter ever. frankie edgar. nog and henderson have beaten multiple.
