I’m torn between these factors going into this bout:

1) is Colby getting too old? 35/36 years old

2) Colby been inactive, but avoided brutal wars and perhaps has maintained his health by this point

3) Colby avoiding all recent top contenders may have debilitated his mental strength in competition, while Leon is now at his absolute best

for now, I still got Colby winning this but it’s gonna be a tough one

I had Colby winning the last 3 rounds of Usman 2, but a 47-47 could very well been justified there
I didn't see in any way how Usman won 3 rounds, but not the worst decision ever.
That being said, it's not the most undeserving shot ever, not even the most undeserving shot in the past couple years, masvidal made less sense then.
I'd like to see Colby beat just 1 contender on a streak then I would have zero issue with him getting the shot.
Kind of like how Whittaker should be fighting Alex, not Izzy. He beat vettori after arguably beating Izzy. Close fights with champs should keep you close but not give you dumb title shots because you almost won.
