Elections Alabama Special Senate Election Live Results Thread

God damn alabama -- he tried diddling a minor, not his cousin -- I thought even they would understand the difference.

I get the party allegiance and it's a ton of fun to piss of liberals and lefties -- but there are limits to it; supporting an imbreded,:eek::eek::eek:, Yosemite Sam is one of those limits

Several years ago, Don Seigleman was elected as a Democrat governer, who ran on legalizing an education lottery.

When the vote came up, it was voted down. The holy rollers cane out in full force.
That's a shame too. They could have something similar to Georgia with Pre-K and the HOPE Program.

You know Moore is going to win. Voters are more partisan than ever. A few :eek::eek::eek: allegations, and off color remarks aren't going to dissuade the average Bama redneck.
A news station asked a lady who was walking into a local polling place who she was voting for and she said Roy Moore and said even if the the allegations were true she would still vote for him because she'd rather a republican be elected

This is going to be a very tight race! The early reporting counties favor Moore!

27% reporting! Good improvement for Jones!

Moore Rep. 150,498 51.4%
Jones Dem. 138,187 47.2
Write-Ins — 4,013 1.4

29% reporting! Slight uptick for Moore!

Moore Rep. 162,117 51.6%
Jones Dem. 148,109 47.1
Write-Ins — 4,205 1.3

It's all race politics in Alabama. My sister lives there in a 6,000 person town that is 99% black. Her and her husband are both teachers, and 1 of like 3 white families in the town.

That place is another world.

NYT says Jones has a 63% of victory!

You are actually dead on.

Full term legal Abortion and putting a liberal in the senate Trump allegations here.

The guy wants homosexuality to be illegal, brought a gun to his rally, made the slavery statement, and rode a horse to vote like a douche. No I don’t support him. I do however see his escapades as overblown outside of the 14 year old, which needs to be investigated after he is elected. Beat case where is he wins and gets exPelled

lol

I actually thought the horse thing was pretty funny. He clearly wasn't a very seasoned rider, which kind of just highlighted that he's either a charlatan or an incompetent boob.

32% reporting!

Moore Rep. 162,117 51.6%
Jones Dem. 148,109 47.1
Write-Ins — 4,205 1.3

uhoh .. nyt jones 57% chance
It was at like 67% before dropping back to 63%. I guess their algorithm is pretty confident about how the remaining counties will go.

Minor or not, it's completely inappropriate for an officer of the state to date high school girls.
