age birthdays quit being birthdays

I stopped caring in my early 20's. I don't get gifts, but I'd usually go out for dinner or some shit with an ex or my friends. Make a night of it. But no presents though.

At 30.
29 was awesome. We went to Vegas, did a bunch of shit and had a great time. After that, it was just dinner at my mom's house. I think it all ends once you get married.

Also, Scott Parker, I know your wife makes a huge deal out of her birthday. So she at least owes you a blowjob or a coupon for the Bunny Ranch on yours.

For me i started to get gifts and cake after i got married. While i was a child i had the birthday parties but when i turned 13 i stopped caring for birthdays and didnt even want a cake. However, it all started to become a big thing again after i met my wife. Now i get a cake plus presents from her/kids and i like getting a cake and presents from them.

Parents still give unneeded money and unwanted cards, heh.

There's one good friend I still exchange gifts with, but I feel like it's a game of chicken and neither of us wants to blink first.

The general parting of ways during/after university did away with most organized celebration of birthdays for me.

I still get them in my 30's even though I keep telling my parents not to.

Haven't had a party since I turned 8.
same. my mother doesnt care for birthdays and was only celebrating mine i think to please my aunt (who lived literally right across the road lol). we moved when i was 8 tho, and that was the end of that. stopped celebrating birthdays altogether.

my grandmother however would continue to give me gifts for a few more years. she had a lot of kids and grand kids, so once you were in your teens she had to stop, but tbh she kept giving me stuff well into my teens, until her mind started going. i was special <3 hehe

Invita, puto!

Women generally make a real big deal about their birthdays.

They say things like my "bday month or bday week".

Get over yourself.
lol yeah this is so common among the female friends ive had. a lot of them would have a birthday week, or at the least a weekend. weekend isnt so bad i guess, everyone likes to have an excuse to have fun on the weekends. but goddamn a week? A WEEK??? the fuck we supposed to do for a week, how am i supposed to even care for a week?

bahh.

but i think this is more common among the people with more money, or just incredibly into themselves, or with certain kinds of parents . . .

I still get gifts. But I stopped caring about my birthday probably at around 22 or 23 and literally stopped keeping count after I turned 30. Like when people ask me how old I am now, I have to stop and think. Probably because senility is setting in.

This is just another reason why women are so annoying.

Nothing more sad and pathetic then a 32 year old claiming this is her "bday month". Screaming for attention for a "past her prime bday."

me and my slampiece have teh same birthday, and irnoicaly we met on our birthday. so i get presents and will continue to do so forever suckers.

Lmao

My chick used to try and pull this shit with me. I flat out told her she gets one day, just like anyone else. Choose what day you want to celebrate and let me know.

Lmao I said the same shit to my Ex. She wsnt happy about it but thankfully I no longer am saddled with that dead weight.

I'm not a cheap guy but it's almost like "let me find a way to bleed this guy dry this week by making my bday 5-6 days"

Get over it

oh, i didnt know it was a thing that people did at *that* age. it was something i seen in my teen years, and a couple girls in their early 20s.

at 32 that is sad, i dont mean that in a rude way, just, idk. id assume somebody doing that into their thirties probably has some personal issues that they're dealing with /: like if you want an entire month devoted to yourself you must have something going on there (tho i assume this of younger people as well, i guess it gets sad when they havent worked out those issues yet at a certain point)

I stopped giving a shit about birthdays in my teens.

Gift giving is retarded imo. All my friends and brother and sister are all over 25 and have good paying jobs and can buy anything they want, whenever they want. So basically if I were to actually put forth the effort to buy them something, it's a novelty/gag gift. Whoop dee fucking doo.
