  • Salmonella outbreak
    From fall 2023 to June 2024, at least 165 people in four states were infected with salmonella from raw milk products from Raw Farm in Fresno, California. This was the largest outbreak of its kind in the US in a decade. Many of the victims were children, with a median age of 7. Raw Farm recalled the products in October 2023 but resumed sales a week later.


  • Campylobacteriosis outbreak
    In mid-July 2024, two Washington residents became ill after drinking raw milk from Old Silvana Creamery in Arlington, WA. Both people were infected with the same strain of Campylobacter jejuni.


  • E. coli outbreak
    Raw cheddar cheese from Raw Farm was linked to an E. coli outbreak. The recalled cheese included all sizes of blocks with best by dates through October 4, 2024, and all sizes of shredded cheese packages with best by dates through May 10, 2024

I'm sorry you're not impressed by 165 people getting salmonella, but the government working to prevent outbreaks like this is a good thing and tax dollars well spent.

The amount of people who actually got E Coli from McDonalds is only actually around 90, but their sales plummeted. Only 59 people actually got listeria from Boar's Head products, but concern was enough they closed the entire plant. Should nothing have been done? Should we check if Boars Head was MAGA or not first, before we decide to act?

It's great that the Amish voted overwhelmingly MAGA but that shouldn't give them carte blanche to get people sick.
