I'd really like to see the people complaining craft what a "positive" story that focuses solely on Trump and current events would look like, because it's nearly impossible to do it. As soon as you start adding details, it's going to get negative, and there is no way around it.

Here is about as detailed you can get regarding a positive Trump story:

"Trump held a rally, lots of people attended, he said he would do some good things and that he would make america great again"

Anything more detailed than that is going to go negative, because he can't help himself and he will without fail start:
- complaining about something or someone
- lying
- slinging insults and attacks
- slurring speech
- misreading the teleprompter
- go off on some bizarre rant or tangent that makes no sense and/or we've heard many times already

The media can't include any of that because then it's negative.
