Haha... do they also go over how genital and oral herpes is rampant in the industry, to the point that it's not something that disqualifies people from performing in scenes because no one would get anything new.

they went a little into the aids outbreak in the early/mid 80's and how it impacted some of the actors at that time, but not about the diseases today. I have seen numerous porn actors openly talk about how they have various diseases and herpes. Its common knowledge that they basically sign up for it when they get in the industry but i still occasionally see sherdoggers say they are cleaner then average americans becasue they test all the time, lol. Im pretty sure that only aids and serious outbreaks get anybodys attention in porn.

I have caught "Dave's Old Porn" a couple times. I actually think it is funny in a gross way. He always wants to f*ck and flirt with the girls on the show it seems, and then they like the male porn stars lol..At least it was that way with Kathy Griffen. Those old actors seem to be doing ok I guess. It's a really slutty gross thing for women to do. They are prostitutes and everybody knows it.
 
But aren't about 50% of people carriers of herpes? It's just asymptomatic in most cases, yes?

Oh, I've seen this time and again in here and heard it from friends..etc etc etc... it's absolutely laughable to think that porn stars are disease free. It's not hard to find a few candid interviews from stars that make it pretty clear that there's plenty of nasty shit passed around regularly, herpes is the least of their worries.
 
Started watching it the other day, but got kinda bored, I'll prolly pick it up again.

yeah, it defenitely gets boring from time to time. An hour and half and i had to stop myself from fastforwarding a few times.

I liked it. Pretty moving. Lots of tragic characters.
 
For some reason I thought this was going to be some pseudo documentary about a dystopian future without porn.
 
Was really disappointed in the Raylene story. Was suprised in how good she looked, seemed to have moved on . . . Obviously the market crash turned her back to the easy money. Again, sick disappointing. IMO that story doesn't end well.

The one that surprised me was the bounty hunter. I actually remember her from old 80s stuff and she seemed like the type who was a dirty skank who for sure would have ended up a crack-whore toothless on the streets. Really surprising.
 
Yeah the Raylene story was kind of sad. But I already knew she went back into porn while watching it. I had no idea she had kids.

yeah the boiunty hunter girl looks like she is/was on the verge of being a crackhead on the streets. She really turned her back on the industry and has tried to run away from that life. Lots of regret and pain in those eyes,but she has a family and appears to be on the right track to stay away for good. She seems to have a strength and thats good for her.

i knew about raylene getting back in the bsiness as well before watching. I remember back in raylenes prime she was talking about wanting to get into recording music. It seems she wanted to be able to do other things but life told her nope, you aint got any other skills. In a lot of her scenes, you can tell she isnt into it.
