hahaha come on, idk maybe i'm explaining this wrong? We're not getting anywhere with this. matthew 16 happened and Jesus was talking about the transfiguration that occured 6 days later according to the bible.
Matthew 24 and the verse you're taking out of context and mixing it in with Matthew 16. Matthew 16 and Matthew 24 i personally don't think had anything to do with one another and was most likely spoken about days/weeks/possibly months apart. But that's just my speculation. I could be wrong in regards to that passage and who He's addressing. I won't claim to have all knowledge of everything- Believe what you shall.
Jesus was obviously not speaking of his coming back in 6 days, come on. Where was the Kingdom of Heaven when he came back 6 days later? Why would Jesus be speaking of signs in relation to something happening in less than a week? Where was his father and his angels, coming to repay each man according to his deeds 6 days later? Seriously, this is a terrible, terrible line of reasoning.
AND yes i will argue that last part. Jesus did die, the veil torn, an earth quake happened, dead men came out of their graves...and i'll take it one step further. Jesus then ROSE from the grave on the third day.
What is your story? that somethng came from nothing. A giant explosion happen and now you have a wife and family with a dog and a picket fence where you're only concern is your 401k? How did something come from nothing? lets flip the script- what is your beliefs? How did you come into existence?
Your gross oversimplification aside, the science at this moment seems to point towards the hot big bang being the start of the current universe. Whether or not this came into being as a daughter universe, as many theoretical physicists posit, maybe it was beginning of just another universe within a multiverse, or something even more exotic. I dont know exactly how this happened, and unlike believers, I am not prepared to simply proclaim the answer as something I can not prove, nor could possibly hope to know.
The one explanation that does nobody any good, and does not explain anything whatsoever, is a God, itself outside of time and space (which makes no sense, as a God would exist before time, hence in relation to time, and somewhere ele, which would be physical space), who suddenly creates it all, literally for no other purpose than to have a single primate species worship him in a completely other dimension of his creation after he lets them die.
If God created all of this, God's mere existence brings up the question of who or what created God. Any appeals to God being outside of time and space are futile, unimaginative, and do not logically cohere.
You seem to be confusing cosmology and evolution through natural selection as the same thing. On how humans are here, the science has made it quite obvious that we are not even the end result, but a result of genetic adaptation and mutation over countless generations, over billions of years.
On how I got here: I dont think I need to explain the sperm egg relationship to you.
Does it bother you that you believe in the veil of the firmament, even though we know our planet is a sphere, and the Temple of Jerusalem is not the center of the universe, and the focal point of creation? How does it feel to believe in things you knew did not happen when you were 8 years old? All the historians, Jewish, Roman, Persian, etc in the area, just missed the zombie uprising, right?
