I'll admit that I didn't get the gimmick initially, but there was a night of drinking, where I traveled down a journey of Danhausen videos, and overall as a character he's brilliant. In the ring when it's time, it seems like he can go. My biggest regret with AEW is that Matt Hardy is no longer currently "broken" with Brother Nero by his side..because he fits in perfectly. I love that he is always 100% in character, and that Donavan Danhausen on podcasts has explained his vision, and has stuck to it. I'll always watch any video featuring the adventures of Danhausen and Davis.

People thought I was crazy when I said this guy is money. He can get over huge with kids. The mark market is already plenty supplied in AEW.

Danhausen needs to be brought in the same way ROH did it. Have him as an entertaining funny interviewer who wrestles occasionally. I enjoy the gimmick much more than Orange Cassidy, because Danhausen is openly admitting he does this stuff for Power and Money. And he has no shame in getting himself out there and rubbing shoulders with name wrestlers.
