The debut is doing huge social media numbers, great way to finish off a great card. They tend to follow up a nice ppv/moment with a terrible couple weeks of booking to fumble the excitement so I'm hoping they go full force here.

I only caught the Darby/Christian match so far but wow. I was in awe of the punishment Darby is willing to take. Just when you think you’ve seen it all from him, he raises his spot fest level. Christian retaining was the right call. He’s on the best run of his career.

Edge coming out for the hometown save. I think it was the right move. One of my all time favorite theme songs. Keeping it ambiguous, not having him join Christian was smart. Edge is a huge star. You don’t put guys like that in factions. They burn brightest on their own. Not sure where they go from here with him but I would not do Edge/Christian immediately. I’d wait. Mainly bc that’s a match that is very Dustin/Cody like. It could main event a PPV after a long slow burn so I hope they play it that way.

In the meantime, Christian, Nick, Nick’s mom will make for some hilarious TV.

Edge I’m eager to see in AEW. So many fresh opponents he can feud with, and even some relics from the past that could generate heat (hello Matt Hardy). I think he can be better than he was in WWE with more freedom. More freedom on promos, and even matches like Danielson has been able to achieve
