WWE humbles egos. AEW doesn't. When you got a boss that puts people in check, it makes for a chiller work environment. Tony Khan seems to be a complete coward when it comes to actually being someone's boss.

I remember a bunch of guys on old shoot videos talking about how much different the WWF locker room was compared to the clusterfuck of the WCW locker room. WCW seemed to have that similar dynamic AEW has, especially when Bischoff ran the company and was friends with everyone instead of being their boss.

Vince is the type of guy that when Terry Taylor showed up to the WWF with an ego, Vince gave him a Rooster gimmick to humble him <Lmaoo>

For sure. Millennials ain't as cut throat as boomers.
Way different tactic to running a company.

Tony seems very fortunate with his line of thinking with Mox. Mox's word seems to be worth gold, which is like 1 in a billion in prowrestling. I already knew he put the belt on Moxley when he didn't have a contract, but Mox also said he will never go anywhere and they could pay him cash in an envelope every week and not even give him a contract. A different cat.

But yeah, the AEW locker room feels like WWF in the mid 90s when the kliq was in charge and it was a minefield.

Yeah, I don't believe Mox had any intention of going to WWE. Sounded more to me like he was pissed at Punk for not appreciating him holding down the company while he was injured, and Punk is being an ungrateful prick about it.

Punk trying to make it look like Mox is an idiot for having the "Rocky" idea, but Mox probably deserved his title reign legitimised for what he did.

It's not about if Mox had any intention to go to WWE. It's about giving him the option to while making him world champion which gives him all the power to call the shots. It's absurd.

Oh I 100% agree with that. Tony putting the belt on a guy with no contract is an absolutely ridiculous move. I was more trying to get at things from Mox's perspective.

Punk painting Mox as a guy who didn't want to lose to him was so dumb lol Mox seemed to be hammering home the point that he obviously isn't going anywhere. Mox was there to pick up Punk's mess by carrying the title over the summer, while not being under contract, and was supposed to be on vacation. Punk to then turn around and talk shit about Mox like a teenage girl on social media shows what Punk is like.

I think it's also pretty obvious that Mox has zero problems with The Elite and Jericho as well lol seeing as those have been his most recent feuds and he's been absolutely fine with putting over Hangman clean.

Giving someone who doesn't have a contract the world title is certainly a decision <45>
Sounds familiar

I've a newfound appreciation for Moxley.

...but I still wouldn't mind him taking that vacation and getting off my tube for a couple months.

......and Jericho twice that.

He could always play it as he's giving Trips a chance instead of Vince but Vince being back in the fold kind of changes that strategy
I saw a Jim Cornette video joking about Cody vs. Punk at Summerslam. Vince would totally bring Punk back just for something like that.

Punk tried to see what WWE would offer before even going to AEW. He just recently went from Buyout with no non-compete to please take me back Uncle Tony. The guy would love to go back to WWE, nobody wants him there. Seth, Roman, Sami and Owens all have issues with them. And Keller reported a while back Punk may have had a falling out with Heyman. The only person who would want Punk back is Vince. He's dead in the water, he even went to a New Japan show recently to kick tires.
