I mean there wasn't anything I strongly disliked nevermind, on reflection Ballbag Bailey and that stupid fuckin finish to open the show I REALLY didn't like. Aside from that, my issue was mainly with match order and the overall production of the show. The cameras were missing a LOT of shots, the audio was pretty bad during MJF's promo and picking up the big weapon hits, and the completely useless overrun. The matches were fine, I'm liking more and more of the wrestlers I see, curious to see how Mox vs. Swerve goes.

AEW refs are so dog shit. WWE refs you hardly ever see things like this. You hardly even know they are there. I don't even know their damn names for the most part!

I’m not going to lie. I wanted to hate this guy but I’m digging him a bit. At least he’s doing something different than the rest of the roster. He’s new to me, so this could get old. I did like that stiff axe kick he laid in.

AEW refs are so dog shit. WWE refs you hardly ever see things like this. You hardly even know they are there. I don't even know their damn names for the most part!

WWE refs are receiving far more respect than they ever have before.
Even WCW & TNA refs never made them look this good.

That said, that female ref is damn good. Haven't seen a mistake by her. In that last Toni Storm match with all the broken glass I noticed she counted a pin, slamming her hand into the canvas upon broken glass, and he didn't flinch until after the kickoff.

Haven't seen any mentions of that online.




I hate to say this, but the longer Moxley is in AEW the worse of a wrestler he's becoming and relying on body mutilation.
Shock value occasionally has its place, but not every damn match.
Makes we wonder if he went back to WWE he'd signicantly improve, or if he'd try to do the same shit he's doing in AEW.

Aubrey Edwards is easily the worst ref in AEW without a doubt. If you've never seen a mistake by her you must be watching AEW shows with your eyes closed.

She also tries to get herself over in matches. She always has to "get her shit in" with her dumb ass spots. She has to always be super animated with everything she does. She's a constant distraction taking away from the action of the wrestlers on top of constantly making mistakes.

Some of AEW's refs are fine. I like Mike Posey, Stephon Smith, and Brandon Martinez cause they're usually just in the background doing their job. Most of the time I don't even realize who is refereeing the match when they're in there.

Aubrey Edwards has had a completely terrible career in AEW. Every once in a while she'll do her job, but most of the time she's just being an animated clown doing some "look at me" shit or completely missing shit she's supposed to be doing.

Bryce Remsburg's last 2 years might be the worst 2 years of refereeing I've ever seen. He's fine in some matches, but when he's not fine he's completely off the rails terrible.

Paul Turner is usually a good ref, but it seems he gets put in a lot of positions where he gets assigned to the matches with the most fuckery, so he has more opportunities to fuck up.

Rick Knox might be shoot retarded.

Sometimes I think AEW refs are stuck between a rock and a hard place, like they're actively told not to actually do their job. Like the script must be followed no matter what and if the wrestlers put the refs in a shitty situation the refs have to just look like buffoons.

Because they're all good wrestlers who are connecting with the crowd. Speedball is being very well received by the fans. Davis played his role well too in that match.

Would have much preferred a Ricochet v Speedball singles match to see who faces Omega. I mean I'm sure the three way will be great but I'm more interested into seeing both of them in singles matches against Omega instead

Didn't the snow cause travel issues? Either way I thought that was a good showcase for Billie Starkz. She's improved a lot in ring since being paired with Athena. Definitely a lot less sloppy
