Again this whole thing isn't taken seriously. Tone should be visibly distraught at the scrum and started things with we've got guys stealing cars, attacking each other with cars, it's all out of control and this wasn't what I signed up for when I decided to start a wrestling company....

Damn it, why is this so difficult?!
Because he's a kid playing with his action figures, not a booker. Does a good job (for the most part) of promoting his brand, but fucks the rest up royally.

Someone finally asked about Moxley, but had to add "storyline aside" and now Tony is praising Jon Moxley and just said he's quite possibly the most important figure in the history of the company.

Maybe I'm just out of touch with AEW now, the end of the show wasn't for me. Way too much. Just thing after thing after thing after thing after thing after thing following a bloody match. Heels attacking heels and a selfish tweener kind of babyface saving the heel from another heel with a cash in gimmick thrown on top and car crashes and grand theft auto/assault on random people while the crowd just sits there all like:

I've also hated MITB since WWE introduced it and it sucks ass that AEW is doing that dumb ass gimmick.

I didnt like it either. I liked Darby ramming the truck and acting all crazy because that fits. That's all that needed to happen at the end. All those run ins in the ring was some ADHD stuff. Kind of ruined a good match and good ppv. It seems like AEW wants to end PPV's with a bunch of stuff and it's too much.

I actually thought Hangman was going to align with Mox. Him helping Christian doesn't make any sense at all, and he keeps losing so shouldn't be near any title picture.

Imagine if this happened instead of TK gushing about Mox. I’d read that TK made a similar comment before the PPV about Mox somewhere else too.

Don’t even try to sell a story to us, TK.

..at least WWE keeps up the charade some in the post-event pressers.

It sounds like matchwise it was a good show, like most knew it would be.

AEW needs some faces though. Pretty much all the top guys seem to be heels, and all the big faces keep losing. There is no one right now to challenge Mox who is believable, except maybe switchblade.

Ibou is right, this shit is stupid. Garcia just won the belt then talked about respecting the belt that Cody Rhodes, Brodie Lee, Adam Copeland, and Christian made prestigious only for Jack Perry to disrespect, then Garcia immediately announced he was entering the CC to chase a different belt, which basically puts the TNT title on ice for 6 weeks. Garcia basically buried the TNT title at the scrum lol

Bald is a moron.

Overall I enjoyed FG, the ending was out there but I didn't think it was terrible. Mox is getting exactly what he wanted from more of the roster now, with how things ended it does feel like they are leading to some Battle Cry soon.

Plus with guys like Lashley, Takeshita, Jay White, Fletcher, Ospreay and others gaining quick momentum I would like to see the main event scene open up a bit more. OC lost but he also won, he had a solid showing.

Cool thing I noticed. Both Callis guys won from moves from the same turnbuckle.

Thought the show was decent overall. Some stuff I very much enjoyed, but so many frustrating matches or tedious dreck.

4 way tag match was fine. Time to do something with Bowens now.

MJF vs Roddy sucked. Who is the NXT drama for? This will still inexplicably eat up a lot of TV time too.

TBS title match was great. Such a pity it had such a horrid build. Could've been that much better. Hopefully they will learn.

Hangman vs White sucked. Tedious as all hell for most of it. Could do without a match where both are selling leg injuries that followed a far better match where a leg injury was a key factor.

Ospreay vs Fletcher was very good. Some crazy stuff as expected.

Mina/Mariah segment was fine. Quite the shiner on Mariah?

The Scapegoat Jack Perry's reign of terror is over. Hopefully also that gimmick. As I feared, he just wasn't the guy to be put in that position.

Take vs Ricochet was a slog. Please dump the latter to Rampage where he belongs.

Swerve vs Lashley was good. Many ways things can go now!

Main event was fine. Big pop for Willow! Aftermath was odd to start, and then Darby friggin' Allin!! That boy ain't right and I commend him for that!

Jim Cornette hit piece looms.

I'm watching this event... and I'm surprised MJF is only the 2nd match of the event. Thought he'd always be in the main event or at least close to it.
