Miz took the skills he had and worked hard. It was just in a different way. He wasn't going to have the 5 star match but he was the first to raise his hand to fly international to do a media tour at the drop of a hat. That keeps you employed for decades now and that's the goal in an industry with such an insane turnover

This post just reminded me of Jon Moxley storyline shortly after he signed with WWE. They had him crash Mick Foley's speaking event in the hotel lobby blaming Mick for why Moxley mutilates and destroys his own body. It was supposed to lead to a worked shoot TV story and match between the two, but apparently Mick was in too bad of shape and WWE's neurologist wouldn't clear him so they just quietly squashed it.

It's kind of funny though that back in 2012 WWE was basically gonna make your post a storyline <lmao>
I really wish we had got this storyline. I can remember Mox's promo making the rounds on the internet at the time. It was great shit

I'd rather have Danielson's career.

Respect in the industry would be big for me. I've never been a happy to be here type of person.

Back at one of the post show scrums a couple years ago I remember Tony saying something about Danielson being the guy he would want to run AEW if something were to happen to him. That's a crazy amount of respect in the business.

That ain't bashing The Miz's career either, guy is often praised as the ultimate "good hand" for his reliability, but I think even The Miz himself didn't want that and just kind of settled in to it, I'm sure if he actually had the ability he would've wanted the dope matches and the respect as well, he just didn't have the skill.

I think the Miz ate a lot of shit to get where he is that I personally wouldn't. Im sure he's making good money now but for me money isnt worth gettinf treated like shit. Benoit tries to punk me and Im slapping the taste out of that midget and finding a new job.

People say he has Maryse but what do we know about her. Miz could have married the locker room bicycle for all we know! That aint nothing to be proud of!

Jk she seems like a sweet girl

I remember Mark Henry’s reaction to it and him burying Mox while unbeknownst to Henry, he was sitting next to Mox.

"Do I look like Kevin Sullivan to you, pal?"

Nah man, she is French Canadian, you were right the first time

I always thought I had something to offer The Business!

This page made me think, would you rather have the Miz’s career with all the money he’s made and being pretty much injury free, or Bryan Danielson’s with the way better legacy/career but all the neck injuries that came with it?

Call me what you will, I'd rather have a functional old age than a blaze-of-glory youth. You'll be a retired wrestler a lot longer than you'll be an active one (at least that would be the hope), and I would want to do it with the minimal amount of surgeries and medications.

That being said, I'm currently sitting here with meniscus tears in both knees, a jacked elbow and chronic lumbar problems from my not admitting to myself when it was time to slow down, so maybe I should have heeded my own advice a little more.

This goes back to my point earlier. Most likely we are all going to be fucked up later in life no matter what. Whether its disease, cancer injuries or just our bodies falling apart. Mu grandpa has had quadruple bypass surgery, full hip replacement and multiple knee surgeries. He never played sports or anything. He built kitchen cabinets for a living.

It seems like it just comes down to how we all want to individually live our lives. I will say this, its a good time to get fucked up with all the advances in medicine and whatnot. Ive healed from some things that probably would have required surgery 30 years ago.

Miz married Maryse, DB married Brie. Miz wins.

La Catalina was on Fox Sports Mexico's AEW talk show. Big Tone needs to book her more.
