Nothing wrong with Swerve being a transitional champ. He's not exactly must see TV since he's won the belt. Unless he has some major character development I want Ospreay to go over at FD.

But imagine Osprey walking into to Wembley to defend the belt.
I know. It would be amazing, but I don't think it should come at the cost of Swerve looking weak

Fuck all y’all trying to blame Trent for OC losing the gauntlet.

It’s not Trent’s fault he ain’t hungry enough to power through

I think most people would see Trent as a babyface for keeping OC out of the World title picture

Might have to check out Rampage outside of the Satnam match. Penta/Take and Fenix/Zay for me are must see.

Edit: Also adding Will Ospreay continuing to have fun in AEW with Shota

Only problem there is that we just had a transitional champ in Joe (who they also did very little with). Tony needs to pick someone to carry it until the inevitable MJF second reign.

AEW has always had a problem of their World Champion rarely ever feeling like the most important thing on the show. It doesn't really matter at this point if a champion is transitional or not. The only difference between a transitional champ and not transitional champ in this company is length of reign. None of the reigns have substance. Kenny Omega was the only champ that was the most important part of the show for a lot of his reign and even his reign got pushed aside for The Inner Circle vs. The Pinnacle for a good portion of it.

AEW tends to nail the journey to the title but sometimes the chase is more fun so once it happens it feels like now what, to be fair it happens everywhere even with Cody now (just my opinion lol).

They almost waited too long to pull the trigger on the Swerve win, had they a couple months prior when Ospreay was very invested elsewhere it may have worked a bit better. Either way I hope they continue to back Swerve whether he wins or loses at FD, the whole Elite story is pushing everyone back which also hurts Swerve.

Kenny Omega was the best AEW champion of all time. And I won't hear otherwise!

We've apparently passed the 1 year mark since Megan Bayne signed with AEW and 5 months since she finished her Stardom excursion.

Viva Van just lost an ROH title eliminator to Athena last week <lmao>

I'm a Viva Van fan and am glad to see her getting more and more AEW and ROH matches, but holy fuck this is stupid. They really gotta be trolling with these Eliminators.

Any random can just challenge Timeless Toni Storm?! Next thing we know we are going to see Sherdog's own @Sara versus Timeless Toni Storm in a 5* classic!
