News Adesanya vs Jan Official for March 6

A great champ who holds up his own division and the one above by moving up when he's only had two title defenses.

Eh.

Not to mention all this conveniently happens shortly after Jones vacated and left the division. I don’t think there’s anything “great” about it at all.

I think this is an easier stylistic match up for Israel than Robert Whittaker is / was.

Of course Jan could catch him and knock him out. However, it just seems like Israel has an answer for it all. He's faster, more diverse, and really good against those who charge in.

I guess it all depends on what Israel's power is like at 205. If he can hurt Jan the same way he did to Whittaker, then I heavily favor him.

For Jan to win, I think he either has to get a KO inside of an exchange, or he can attempt to wrestle Israel and use that to win rounds / fatigue Israel

Santos is a former 185 himself...And Izzy is a better striker.

Yeah i agree but he will fight the winner of Jan/Izzy but what if Izzy wins do u think he is gonna fight Glover ?

That's my concern. If Adesanya wins (as he's expected to) he's going to clog up the division and push Glover's TS back even further.

That said, Izzy genuinely seems like the type of guy to stay active, so if there's one current champ I could see defending two belts, it would be him

If Izzy beats Jan do u think the UFC will make the MEGA SUPERFIGHT between Izzy and Jones ?

If Israel smokes Jan (which is very likely), he could easily turn around and do the same to Glover. IMO Glover has nothing for Adesanya. Too slow, too basic in striking, and isn't taking Israel down.
