I like Izzy more than most here, but I really respect what Jan overcame to become champ and always love to see Dana's master plan get wrecked.

Hope it's a fun fight.

I feel your pain. I like both guys, but I gotta go with Jan here. He was the underdog in like his last three fights, beats the guy who people claim beat jon jones, and he's STILL the underdog. The guy just never seems to get the respect he deserves from the masses.

The heavier handed, bigger man vs the long, rangy counter striker. While I very much so expect Izzy to win, and probably TKO Yan if Yan goes for it...Weve seen guys like Gastelum and Vettori have success by pressuring and keeping the volume up. Yan has to do the same, if he stands on the outside and becomes gunshy like Costa he will suffer a similar fate.

Fortunately for Jan, Unlike the shorter T-Rex arm guys that Adesanya has been fighting, Jan has the physical qualities and the skills to fight on the outside as well. Adesanya usually enjoys half a foot or more of reach advantage on guys. Hell, on Gastelum, whittaker and Costa he had like 10 inches of reach on them. He has only 2 inches on Jan, so he won't be as safe as he thinks on the outside in this one.
