When is the absolute? If I recall the top 3 from each division qualify right?

And Gordon isn't like everyone else, his combo of leg locks/guard passing/back attacks would be too much for even Roger to handle

Gordon made easy work of Hulk, he only lasted as long as he did because of stalling. 3X0 is decisive

He could beat roger, but no one mauls him, less than anything at his prime.
 
jesus JT with another gold... hes probably the most underated grappler of all time...

he used to be a shadow of keenans success... kennan hasnt won jack shit at elite level, jt is a double adcc champ...

Roger is a big and crazy strong dude. I could imagine him getting leg locked but Rogers back escapes are crazy, he took Buchecha off in the gi in their first fight like it was nothing.
Watching Roger rolll with Braulio in no-gi make him look like a blue belt he was a fuckton better a few years ago in no-gi than in 2005.

JT has always been far more decorated than Keenan.

He's got great, solid jiu jitsu. Not as innovative as Keenan which is why it might be perceived that he's in his shadow.

And it is insane how young and good some of these guys are - that 16yr old from AOJ (Atos), Nicky Ryan, that blue belt guy, Gordon.

Nogi has always been easier to come out of nowhere and in short order .... particularly at ADCC, where you can Orlando Sanchez your way to victory.
 
I think the whole belt system has to be revised.

having blue belts beating balck belts isnt right.

these blue belts have to compete vs blue belts in ibjjf tournaments, its ridiculous.
