Nah, just a one-time visit while my girl's studying a term abroad here.

The student gym is fucking fantastic and should be a role-model for every gym on the planet. Ten or more powercages with platforms, a couple of standalone platforms, with excellent accessibility between stations. There's actually more space for proper equipment than bullshit, which is supremely relieving for a change. I even saw a couple of guys with a respectable, proper squat for their size! If I only had the chance to work out in an environment like thaton a regular basis. Awesome atmosphere.

I was chatting to someone at my home gym back in December and he is a student at Loughborough, I seem to remember him saying the gym was decent. Having never been to Uni, I can't say if it's the norm over here. Enjoy the rest of your stay.
