Thank You for posting this. Good stuff!

I'm surprised the UFC goes to California at all anymore. California and Ohio are the only two states left that mandate purse disclosure.

I think UFC and California state athletic commission are buddy-buddy - didn't California welcome them with open arms on a fee days notice when Nevada wouldn't let Jones fight due to his picograms?

California was probably delighted to have them come on a few days notice. That benefitted them more than the UFC. If they had said no for some reason, Dana would've gone to Texas or Florida in all likelihood.

The most lame changes possible lol. Irrelevant

Trevor Wittman already has, but, won't sell the design to the company manufacturing UFC gloves now.

Trevor Wittman? the Pride gloves already fixed it decades ago. everyone knows the Pride gloves curl so it's more difficult to extend fingers but they have never even thought of using them.

You have 5 minutes to recover from a retina damage. Can't see shit? 5 minutes is more than enough, stop whining.

I mean... And how many times it is going to be allowed to consider it a foul? This can change the course of a fight drastically. Can't be accepted.

Silence is poetry for some people.

Should allow tattoo neoprene sleeves and go back to new metal song entrances!

You guys are weird. You complain the fighters don’t get paid enough but yet you want the UFC to get rid of a bonus that can help lower paid fighters.

I agree with the rest of his stuff but I dont see how a win bonus hurts

If we’re changing the rules… I’m for adding a helmet in the center of the ring. They can fight over who gets it, and maybe a stick too.

Really hope they add open scores. Prize fighting is one of the few or only athletic compititions where it's deemed ok to hide the score mid match.

REAL SPORTS show the score: imagine a football game where the ball is touched down near/on the line and instead of reviewing then the ref says "the judges will review it and tell you at the end of the game if you get points." Wrestling you get a td and they put the points on the board.

Grounded should be butt on the ground or the fetal position only. Whilst I want knees to the grounded opponent in these positions, that's a major change. That way you don't get curb stomped from guard or survive by being in the fetal position.
Someone remaining in those positions by choice should be awarded like the back is now as a major control position.
For example Paul Craig repeatedly sitting back to guard in his last fight, loses him the fight and Aljo turtling under Yan to stall lead to 10-8 style rounds.
You reward those dominate positions as if they could land knees to the head and soccer kicks without having to allow them.
Hand on the mat as you get up is open slather for knees and kicks to the head. Aljo vs Yan 1 becomes a legal knee.

Back control needs to be 10-9 style scoring without repeated sub attempts.

Who cares about neoprene sleeves and I don't like open scoring.
