Vera is hot (as are a surprisingly number of chicks in the F13th franchise) but my personal favorite is Samantha from Part 4.

Overall I think the F13th franchise wins when it comes to the amount of hot chicks it has.

Samantha is definitely hot, and she had a banging body.
 
Unpopular Opinion - Freddy VS Jason is the only great movie either character has ever been in.

All others may have been 'great' for the standards for horror movies in that era but have aged... not well... and at best can now described as 'good.'

Lots of those movies blend together, the one that stands out is Nightmare On Elm Street 2 which I remember being god awful and incredibly bad and cheesey. Definitely the worst in that list.
 
Love both these franchises.

2. Elm Street 3 Dream Warriors
3. F13th original
4. F13th 2
5. F13 4 Final Chapter

Even though I put Elm St movies as top 2 I still think F13th is overall the better franchise. Don't really like any of the other Elm St movies that much.

Hated both F13th and Elm St remakes and Freddy v Jason was pretty dumb too. I thought Jackie Earle Hayley was good in the Elm St remake and looked good too but overall movie was very poor.
 
Jason Lives VI is probably my personal favorite because that was the first one I watched as a kid.

Nightmare on Elm IV is also a personal favorite because I got to see it in theaters as a double feature with Coming to America. One of the best nights of my young life.

Freddy vs Jason is so damn fun and underrated. Saw it with a friend in the theater and the theater was full of high school and college kids drinking beer and smoking reefer. Normally that would bug me but it was a Saturday night and everyone was having a blast.

Most of the Freddy sequels were too camp.

I always really liked Jason Takes Manhattan for the final act for some reason. Definitely a nostalgia pick because it felt really special when I was younger binge watching Jason movies. The one where he is out of his element.

Plus one of my favorite kills



Final Chapter is probably the best of the Jason series. From a story and technical horror standpoint. Corey Feldman was very good in it, especially in the climax.

Jason goes to Hell makes the list for the same reasons Manhattan does.

Freddy vs Jason is actually a better movie but I marked out way harder for the ending shot of Jason Goes to Hell than any part of Freddy vs Jason.

The ending of Jason goes to Hell made me think Freddy vs Jason was coming out like next year. Not a decade later or whatever it was. It was like Mayweather vs Pacquio.

Nightmare on Elm Street is probably the scariest of the bunch but the sequels never really landed with me

Except until New Nightmare which went back to the original tone of the first film while giving birth to the genre saviness scary movie within a scary movie thing that defined the Scream series and slashers for the next decade+. So New Nightmare is really a landmark film that doesn’t get credit for it.

I used to laugh at Julius but now I give him the upmost respect for being the only one to shoot the fair fade with a near invincible zombie

Julius did the brothas proud even though he got packed up lol

Those body shots were filthy. A couple more flurries like that and Jason might’ve buckled. But Julius had to go for the KO and blow his wad.
