91-1

It's easy to type that from a keyboard. 💯

If you've ever had a convo with anyone of them they wouldn't deny it. 90% of fighters were garbage in Europe during the era when they came up. You fight what's available.

You can fight the guy down the street, it’s not going to be an easy fight.

Fighting isn’t as easy as it is when discussing it on your smartphone. 😂

Lack of talent, region etc… all played into reasons why some of these Dagestani’s never faced top competition.

However, that point is moot when you realize they’ve destroyed top competition over and over later in their careers. So it doesn’t make a damn difference, they are the real deal.

91-1 is insane. Some of you guys don’t have a grasp on reality at how hard that feat actually is.

“hE fOuGht bUmZ” is basically trolling when you see the legacy and greatness these guys have achieved in their profession.

Anyway, that’s my take on it. 🍻

Not all victories are created equal.

Team Abdulmanap has some great victories. But 91-1 doesn't mean a whole lot if the vast majority of those opponents were hand-picked no-hopers.

Khabib fought a guy making his debuts at 14-0. When he was 11-0 he fought a guy who was 0-2. That is absolutely shameful.

Now with 75% more cherry-picked opponents!

Clearly these guys are very skilled and Abdulmanap helped shape a winning style. But there is a lot of fluff when you look at most of it properly.
Islam, Umar, and Usman have been fighting good comp since their 6th fights. There is no fluff there.

Khabib had a mixed bag in his early career but not as bad as people claim. Most of these guys were coming from Sambo, kickboxing, or amateur leagues. Plus the last 7 fights he had before entering the UFC were in a single year because he was trying to get out of his contact to go to the ufc (which was supposed to be in 2011).

Sounds like a whole lot of excuses. His record is padded. You cannot tell me that an 0-2 guy was the best opponent they could find. It is shameful matchmaking and no reputable athletic commission would sanction it.
Khabib was placed in a tournament with the guy by ProFC. He didn't pick the opponent and Khabib couldn't exactly say no because he had to finish his contract asap in order to get to the ufc. And Khabib had been fighting once a month/once every other month. He'd run through most of the good regional guys already.

Young Abdulmanap looked so much like Khabib

+ The man could wear a hat like nobody's business!!
Man I so wish there was fight footage of him from back in the day.
Yeah, no females in the picture.

Virtually identical.
<JagsKiddingMe>Yeah the guy taking a photo of himself in Red Square should have definitely waited for a random woman to walk into the background in order to attempt to get her in the shot of a picture of himself. To proactively attempt to appease weirdos on the internet that would care about something so random and stupid half a century later.
