I don't understand the thought process of these people
This is what happens when people don't encounter wildlife and the only thing they know about animals is through disney movies or their pets. They probably think any furry animal is happy to be pet by humans. I didn't grow up in the wild but I watched enough documentaries to know you don't fuck with wild animals.

The people filming and laughing in the video are douches and it wont be funny when the dogs get gored or land and break their necks
Those dogs are idiots, they deserve what they get. They could've walked away at any point when they had enough.

Maybe the people are laughing because they're sick of dealing with douchebag dogs and are glad to see them put in their place.

My wife and I were having a picnic in Yellowstone once and this lone bison started walking toward us.

Once he got too close, we jumped up and grabbed all our stuff in a hurry and ran off back to our car that was maybe 100 yards away.

The bison laid down right where we were sitting only moments ago.

I then tell my wife, "ok give me the keys"

To which she replies, "I thought you had the keys"

And after searching our pockets we realize we must have left them behind.

I had to walk back and get close to the bison and I saw my keys laying on the ground like 8 feet away from him. I was scared as shit but I slowly crept up on him. Fortunately he was facing the other way, so if I saw his head turn towards me that could be my signal to run away. Also since he was laying down i figured it would take a second for him to get up, and that would be one extra second for me to escape.

Anyhoo I was able to grab my keys and run and he didn't get up or chase me, but that was one of the scariest moments of my life. We'd just heard about someone getting gored by a bison a couple weeks earlier.

I would never take my daughter into that kind of danger.

I watched a animal attack vid when I was a kid and this guy GOT OUT OF HIS CAR TO PET A BEAR in Yellowstone.

He did NOT make it back.

That was all the instruction I ever needed on how to handle wild animals.

The kids ok at least but I'm quite concerned that they will put down the Bison because of the incident
They might aswel poison the whole of Yellowstone because animals can be dangerous. Lets nuke the whole world so animals can't hurt us anymore!

Like that guy in India trying to take a selfie with a bear and getting mauled.

How is petting provoking? Shooting is provoking. Kicking is provoking. Petting is not
A 2000 pound bison? Would you try to pet a bull too? I implore you to seek out Bison in the wild and pet those motherfuckers. See where it gets you...

Of course cars all stop and pull over and grab pictures when they see them but was is shocking is how many people not just get out of their cars but move away from the safety of their cars and get very close grabbing pictures. I hate to stereotype but the Asians are the worst.

Probably because the vast majority of Asian tourists will be city dwellers, they won't even have experience of being respectful to the danger of farm animals let alone wildlife.

Bro you are losing your sherdog cred with every word in this post.

A true sherdogger would have shown that Bison what's up.

:meow:

(plus do you know those Bison at Yellowstone are compliments of Elk Island's repopulation program which is in Northern Alberta? Slightly different animal than the American Buffalo (Tatonka))
