I’m a vet and I do not go to the Va for shit. The care is bad but free. That’s why there’s ones who go like it. If they ever go anywhere else they quickly change their minds

Shit, I personally know people who have great experiences with the VA. I know others who had VA horror stories up until last year when they got better staffed.

As people who have served, we are responsible for not painting sweeping generalizations based on our experience. The VA needs to be fixed. It needs work. What it doesn't need, is to be butchered and returned to a state where it consistently failed vets. The past 2 years have been a marked success for the VA. And that's before you even account for the jobs it creates for vets

You know, I've seen the contracts and payout breakdown for social media posts organized by certain groups. I really wonder if some of these foreigners so invested in right wing American politics are also receiving payments for posts. Bonuses for certain current event bullet points and frequency.

Honestly, it's probably with the intention of funneling these newly out of work medical workers into the also struggling with workforce private medical industry. Gotta keep them big wigs happy and the push for privatization going strong.

It's gonna be hard to properly manage that many people no matter what. The system they use needs an overhaul

They also do a lot of research important to veterans like PTSD, CTE, and many others. It's not a for-profit system. This is how you treat people who were willing to make the call.
