can someone tell me the advantage of throwing jabs when you are out of range. I don't like when guys do it, and Sparrow keeps doing it and i think he is gonna walk on to a shot

what's the rationale behind it

I suppose he is trying to find range or it could be to maintain distance. I found no need to do it

i'm fine with Sparrow throwing a lot of shots but you kinda need to land them

maybe you can give that last one to sparrow but he is throwing like 60 punches a round, mostly jabs and literally is throwing them out of range where they have no chance of landing
