To clarify, we've never had a limit in terms of dimensions, as in X by Y pixels, for images. The only concern was for gifs that range in dozens to hundreds of megabytes, because it is taxing on the server. Massive images are generally scaled to size on the page, but don't quote me on that.
On a 4k they look different as this video shows. I used to have a 1440P monitor and they looked similar to this in the video. I have never been on this forum with a lower resolution monitor, so i was working under the assumption that everyone was seeing the forum the same way I was. I guess size doesn't matter for some but to others it does. However we definitely should have a vertical resolution limit so the shoops don't scroll too far.
