Shoop $50 IN PRIZES!! Shoop a new belt? Shoop Contest Announcment

To clarify, we've never had a limit in terms of dimensions, as in X by Y pixels, for images. The only concern was for gifs that range in dozens to hundreds of megabytes, because it is taxing on the server. Massive images are generally scaled to size on the page, but don't quote me on that.

On a 4k they look different as this video shows. I used to have a 1440P monitor and they looked similar to this in the video. I have never been on this forum with a lower resolution monitor, so i was working under the assumption that everyone was seeing the forum the same way I was. I guess size doesn't matter for some but to others it does. However we definitely should have a vertical resolution limit so the shoops don't scroll too far.

Yeah I think I'm with Big Dog on this, on my monitor they all look a similar size.
I think a 1000 X 1000 max might be a good idea.
It'd just be nice to expand the images and be able to see some of the detail up close.
Maybe we could even highlight that voters can zoom in as it were in the intro to the hosting thread (in case they are unaware)
I'll be sure to mention in the voting thread to zoom in and scope 'em out, but we know how well Sherdoggers read directions.... Should be plenty of room to do something like this, though:

Ha, you wait till you see how well the participants read the rules!

Does the new design have to be a digital creation? Obviously the submitted image would be digital, but could that be a photo of an actual craft project?

I ask because my kids are way more creative and have much better design sense than the UFC (and we have an ass ton of craft foam I'd like to get rid of)
I hope this is allowed

Sure, as long as it meets all the other submission guidelines. By the way, I saw people quoting you earlier in the thread, but I never saw those posts. So, I'm not sure if you'd like to join, but if so, just let me know.

read the OP to be sure whether you're too late or not ;)

Hahah typically I would have but I was in a meeting at work that was a waste of my time and I saw this thread so I just immediately jumped on it. I am home now and will read the fine print.

Fuck yes. I'm dogshit at shooping but I will do my best. Thanks!
To get better, you've got to practice and challenge yourself. This should be a good opportunity for both! The shoop community is super chill, too, so don't be afraid to ask questions.

I’m not good at this stuff. If I was I would have created a PED inspired belt for Jones*

I imagine that this is how the Hluk belt was created....

I don't want to take a spot from someone else, and I'm 74% sure I'll be too lazy to do anything, but I might submit something (maybe plan on it not being in the poll IF I even do submit something).
